Crack Exam
Hello Banshita, well it depends on whether you are getting any good NLUs or not. It depends on your category. If you are not satisfied with your marks this year and not getting any decent colleges and if you think you can score better next year then you should take a break of one year.
Vallabh, both of these institutes are good. Both of the institutes have experienced staffs and provides good notes. There are few important parameters that you can consider before going for a particular institute.
1. Location: You can go for the one that is nearer to you. In that way, you can save time and allocate that time for self study.
2. Fees: You can also consider this point while taking a decision.
3. Coaching vs Self Study: Please note that any institute can guide you on how to crack GATE, but it will be your hard work and dedication that will actually help you to crack it. Hence, clear your concept, make a strategy and give mock test regularly to understand where you are lacking and you need to improve.
Tips to crack Gate:
1. Set Goals & Make a Plan : Whenever you start, make a monthly. quarterly and half-yearly plans. Set goals for each month and check if you have met the goal at the each month.
2. Strategize: First, know about your strong and poor points. Make time for the poor points more each day and clear your concept. For eg: If you decide to study 3hrs a day, then you can allocate 2hrs to learn things you are not confident about or you are not good at. Your poor points needs more attention than your strong points. And the rest 1hr you can allocate to your strong points.
3. Mock Test: Give mock test regularly to understand what you are not good at and at the things you are good at. Make a note. And repeat No 2.
4. Time Block: Allocate time for a particular topic each day. Focus on that topic only. Remember, practise makes a man perfect.
5. Be confident and motivated: Confidence and Self motivation is the key to reach a goal. Hence be confident and self motivated.

As you have lot of time ,i would recommend not to lose interest and focus daily atleast two to three hours so that you can crack the exam and also try to concentrate and do all the section like english, quants, resoning on daily basis ,,dnt stick to one section as it may cause bordom
20% of your time – Reading books, novels, magazines, newspapers..
25% of your time – Basic fundamentals of Quantitative Aptitude. Be clear with all the necessary concepts and formulas.
25% of your time – Basic fundamentals of Verbal Ability. Try and understand the concepts of grammar. Learn what Critical Reasoning is all about. Try to differentiate between statements, assumptions, conclusions, facts, inferences, judgments. These things can get really confusing at a later stage if your basics are not clear.
30% of your time – This time should be spent practicing some easy Logical Reasoning, Data interpretation, Reading Comprehension questions. This will help you understand what these sections are all about. It will also help you increase your comfort level with these areas.
