Hi Nallamati,
If maths is your weak section start with the basics. As maths asked in the CAT exam is from the basic till 10th Standard. Practice daily at least 1 topic for 2-3 hours to get into the routine of solving questions. Once you'll be prepared with it, then start praticing questions from the previous years paper.
Arihant books are the best for prepartion.
I hope I have cleared your doubt. Wish you all the best
Hey there,
If possible start your preparation from class 9th because mastering the concepts will take a certain amount of time. You can also start from your class 11th also but the chances that you can score a good rank is low because it totally depends on the level of your preparation.
I hope you have got your answer.
Good luck ahead !
To crack any engineering entrance exam, one needs to have a strong hold over the concepts and they should be crystal clear. The teaching of all major engineering related concepts begin in 11th standard, therefore it is important to buckle up right from 11th standard so that you can gauge the pressure and quantity of syllabus and proceed accordingly.
Coaching acts as a catalyst to your preparation and keeps guiding you at every stage but you can go ahead even without coaching with determination, right time management and right books.
You can buy books of notable authors in this domain like HC Verma, DC Pandey, Solomon and Fryhle etc and begin with your preparation. Managing time is the most crucial aspect, devote most of your time to study but also take out some for unwinding, spend time with parents, talk about leisure stuff and then go back to study. Also remember to take proper sleep of 6-7 hours.
Follow the above mentioned points diligently and you are sure to crack any Engineering Entrance exam.
Please let me know if you want me to elaborate on the books.

Hey!
I would suggest you to take coaching for NEET side by side your 12th as what we study in school is far different from what it comes in the NEET exam, It's competitive. Firstly, study the NCERT of Physics, Chemistry and Biology thoroughly and then start with the competition exam preparation. In short you should know the basics very well then only you will be able to crack the hard level questions.
Make a routine like study 2 hours for school exams and 2 hours for NEET and gradually increase your timings. Go for morning walks it makes you calm and most important thing don't stress.
Do your best.
