priyaankasarkar Student Expert 3rd Jul, 2020

According to the official website: https://www.imu.edu.in/images/Academic%20Brochure%20-2020-2021%20-%2030.06.2020.pdf , the exam will be for 200 MCQs and the syllabus will be in English, General Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as 12th level. For Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, stick to NCERT books of 11th and 12th syllabus. NCERT books will sharpen your basics and you need strong basics for preparing for any entrance examination. Once your basics are in place, because the time period for preparation is quite less, your preparation should be extensive and thorough. There is no negative marking. There might be 40 questions in each session. In English section, command on your English, Grammar, Vocabulary, Understanding of the given paragraph are of more importance. Reading English NewsPaper will also help you in your preparation.

I have applied in certain universities for BTech. Now they are taking our online exam and on its basis they are asking to register a seat in their university. How can I come to a decision when we have not yet given jee mains exam. More over how much I can rely on their exam pattern and their offers

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 29th Jun, 2020
Hello,

So, this is basically because they don't want to wait till JEE because they are not sure whether it would even take place or not and at this point of time nobody knows what's going to happen. So they are basically trying to get some admission before hand.In past weeks few of the colleges conducted online exam with the same pattern of questions from PCM and difficulty level was low as compared to JEE.I personally would recommend you to wait for JEE to take place instead of giving money and getting in the cycle of preparation and that extra tension.Just wait for everything to get normal and keep your preparations going.

Good Luck
