Dtu btech biotech placement , not avg package but how is the situation.

Prachi Kumari 17th Oct, 2024

Hello,

Placements for B.Tech Biotechnology at DTU are generally weaker compared to core branches like Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.

  • Only a few biotech companies, such as Mankind Pharma and Ranbaxy, visit for placements.

  • As a result, students often seek opportunities in non-core sectors or opt for higher studies.

Overall, placement rates for biotechnology hover around 70%, with the highest package being around Rs. 14 LPA. However, the campus infrastructure and opportunities for interdisciplinary placements are decent, but biotech-specific options remain limited.

i confused to choose between RCCIIT & NSEC for MCA admission....which college demand low attendance and which college have higher placement chance...pls help anyone

Seema Goswami 27th Nov, 2024

Hello Shadab

MCA is a post graduate course. It is the study of computer application and software development. MCA is very much in demand and mainly for two reasons-

  • rapid digitalization,
  • growing demand for skilled IT professionals

Both the institutes RCIIT & NSEC are good for MCA but none of them have mentioned regarding compulsory attendance percentage criteria on their web sites. UGC has compulsory attendance percentage required for universities.  MCA is application-based learning; hence, it is highly recommended to meet the basic attendance criteria set by the universities as it will help in-

  • Academic Performance
  • Practical & Lab sessions will require physical presence
  • Interaction with faculty and classmates helps in future collaboration

Both the Universities offer decent placements. RCCIIT placements are good compared to others. Remember a good placement also depends upon many other factors like-

  • Technical Skills
  • Business skills
  • Academic Profile
  • Projects and portfolio
  • Internships and many more.

Hope it helps.

All the best!

Hridaya Rao 13th Sep, 2024
Hello there,
IIIT Allahabad (IIIT A) offers an MBA program with a focus on IT and management, making it a good choice for those interested in the intersection of technology and business. The institute is well-regarded for its technical programs, and the MBA program benefits from its strong industry connections and academic reputation.

However, placements for the MBA program may not be as strong as those for its engineering courses. The average package in recent years has been around 5-6 LPA, with higher packages for top performers. Companies in IT, consulting, and management often participate in the placements, but the number of core management companies might be fewer compared to traditional business schools.

If you are looking for an MBA with a strong focus on IT management and are comfortable with these placement statistics, IIIT A can be a good option. Otherwise, exploring other institutes with a broader range of placement opportunities may

monag2673 2nd Sep, 2024

When choosing the best college for pursuing an MCA after your BCA from GJIMT, several institutions stand out for their excellent education and strong placement records. National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are highly reputable, with NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal being top choices offering robust curricula and impressive placement statistics. Admission to NITs is through the NIMCET entrance exam, so preparing well for this test is essential.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi is another excellent option known for its academic excellence and research opportunities. Similarly, the University of Hyderabad offers a comprehensive MCA program with experienced faculty and good industry connections.
