Preparation
First let me help you with your rank in JEE January session. Your rank can be predicted by using the formula, (100-your total percentile)*869010/100. In your case, your approximate rank would be 55182 . If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 12,00,000 then your final rank will be (100 - your total score) X 12,00,000/100.
You will qualify for JEE Advanced because the qualifying percentile for JEE Advanced will be 85 and more. If you can prepare and study hard with more preparation and write April session, you can easily crack the exam with a very good percentile. You dont have to waste one year because there is April session still pending. So write April session exam also and then see the results Then you can decide if you should drop for a year and prepare.

Giving either of them is ok actually. And for preparations then if you plan to shift in 2021 try to give the exam in around November 2020 if possible and to start it's preparations, as per me it's a 3 months regular studies required to crack the same. So you can start in around July/August to be well prepared to give the exam.
Either the IELTS or the TOEFL is required as part of your application to an English-speaking university and will demonstrate if you will be able to understand the course material.
The IELTS and TOEFL exams are two of the most accepted English proficiency exams around the world. However, both of these tests are different in their structure, approach, and teaching criteria. This means that you need to understand how the two differ before selecting which test to study for and ultimately take.
Thank you.
Hello aspirant,
No need to worry you have lots of time left. One year is sufficient to score good marks in JEE.Preparation for any competitive exam needs more smart work and time management. Don't just read what your teacher teaches you. In depth understanding of the basics is really important. Don't waste your time rather use it judiciously. Ask doubts immediately don't postpone them for future. Never let your practice test marks affect you , learn from your mistakes. Focus more on previous year questions of IIT JEE.
Most importantly do not forget to relax! It helps you remember things better and refreshes your mind.Keep yourself motivated and updated!
Best of Luck!!!
