are NCERT books enough for jee main and jee advanced preparation?

Rajashree Khandelia 12th Oct, 2019

Hello Joseph Gomes

If you want to score well in the JEE Main examination, you must refer to NCERT Books. You must read and understand NCERT line by line. If you have done this, then refer to some other books for better questions to be solved. The more questions you solve, the better you will be prepared for the examination.

Kindly visit our page mentioned below for the list of important books for JEE

how to start preparation for jnu entrance in msc/mca in computer science

NAVEEN MEENA Student Expert 20th Nov, 2019

Dear aspirant, especially for computer questions, there is no issue if you have computer science background. You will be able to attempt most of the questions if your basics are clear. For your preparation you can split it into two parts. For programming, read first 8-9 chapters of 'Let Us C' by Yashwant Kanitkar. For practice use 'Exploring C' by same author and 'C under DOS test' by Vijay Mukhi. Both these books have 400-500 objective type questions on C which will be asked in exam. For other questions, pick the areas you can cover and ask your computer science friends to explain previous year questions.

All the best

Hope this helps
