can a agricultural biochemistry student give csir net exam?

Hi

You are eligible for CSIR net with Agricultural biochemistry , provided you are doing it at Msc level/ or it Integrated BS-MS or  BS-4 years otherwise not.

This is because,

As per Eligibility criteria one needs to have msc or equivalent degree or Integrated BS-MS or  BS-4 years or be /btech or B Pharma or mbbs .

For your reference

Eligibility criteria is given below for CSIR UGC NET :-

  • If you are from general/ EWS / OBC you need to have msc or equivalent degree or Integrated BS-MS or  BS-4 years or be /btech or B Pharma or mbbs with at least 55% marks ( 50 % if you belong to sc/st / pwd.

  • For JRF, there is upper age limit according to which to be eligible for  CSIR UGC NET 2021  you should not be not more than 28 years as of July 1, 2021.
