Architecture Engineering
Hello Aspirant,
Yes, you can apply for a diploma in architecture in West Bengal with 41% in the Madhyamik exam of the West Bengal Board.
Madhyamik Pass with an overall of 35% is required for the diploma entrance examination, JEXPO entrance Exam. For the architecture Diploma, you need to ensure that you have mathematics and Science in your Madhyamik.
If you clear the Entrance exam, then you need to take part in the counselling. There, you have government and private colleges based on your merit ranks, you can get into the college.
Wishing you all the best for your future endeavors. Thank you!
Yes, with 41%, you are eligible for a Diploma in Architecture via JEXPO.
You must appear for JEXPO , which tests Math, Science, and English at the Class 10 level.
Admission is based on your JEXPO rank , not just your Madhyamik marks.
A good rank can get you into Architecture or related diploma streams.
Hello,
Since you’ve scored 41% marks in your Madhyamik examination under the West Bengal Board, your chances of getting admission into a Diploma in Architecture course might be slightly limited. Most polytechnic institutions in West Bengal offering diploma courses, including Architecture, require candidates to qualify the JEXPO entrance exam and also expect a minimum percentage (often around 35% to 50%) in Class 10 with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English. Since you’ve passed Madhyamik, you do meet the basic eligibility to appear for JEXPO, and if you can perform well in the entrance exam, you could still secure a seat in a diploma college.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Dear Candidate , Yes , ADYPU is offering a specialized B.Tech CSE ( AR/VR/XR) program this year . It includes advanced coursework , immersive technology labs , practical projects , and industry integration. Entry is through ADYPU's own AIEAT exam or national / state -level engineering tests.
Hi Anushka,
Yes, if you are interested in the field, pursuing B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Ship Building at IMU Visakhapatnam is a good decision. Indian Maritime University (IMU) is broadly recognized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, Government of India as being a premier institution. IMU Visakhapatnam offers an industry-specific curriculum, experienced faculty, and access to India's expanding shipbuilding and defense maritime states. Graduates are placed in numerous occupations in various shipyards, design firms and marine consultancies, including government organizations like DRDO and the Indian Navy.
hi,
Since you appeared only for JEE Main Paper 2 B-Planning and did not appear for the B-Architecture paper, you won't be eligible for admission to B-Architecture courses. The architecture seats require you to appear and qualify in the B-Architecture paper specifically.
If a college offers both B-Architecture and B-Planning, your rank in the Planning paper can help you get a seat only in the B-Planning course, not in Architecture.
You can directly contact the Charan Singh University administration for your result. If you are asking for different entrance exam result then please specify so that we can answer to your question properly. Thank you.
With a JEE Main Paper 2 rank of 29,930, it will be tough to get into top government architecture colleges like SPA Delhi, SPA Bhopal, or NIT Trichy, since their closing ranks are usually within 3–8K. At your rank, you might still get lower NITs or state government architecture colleges if the cutoff goes higher in later rounds, but chances are slim without NATA.
If you appear for NATA, scoring above 120–130 out of 200 can greatly improve your chances of getting into good state government architecture colleges like UVCE (Bengaluru), Jadavpur University, or CEPT Ahmedabad, depending on your state quota and counselling process. A high NATA score can offset the JEE Paper 2 rank in state-level admissions where both scores are considered.
In short with just JEE rank, options are limited with a strong NATA score, your scope for quality government colleges improves a lot.
For OBC category (non-creamy layer) candidates seeking admission to government medical colleges across India (All India Quota + State Quotas) , the NEET 2025 cutoff marks will depend on the college, state, and reservation policies . Below is a pan-India estimated cutoff range for OBC-NCL candidates based on previous years' trends:
Aim for 600+ marks to secure AIIMS/JIPMER/AFMC or top state colleges .
550-600 marks → Good state govt colleges (Maharashtra, Karnataka, TN).
500-550 marks → Govt colleges in less competitive states (UP, Bihar, MP).
Check previous cutoffs.
