Hii,
Yes, you can take a BBA or B.Com. online course in addition to a regular college course. Students are permitted to pursue two degrees concurrently under UGC regulations. One can be online, and the other can be regular. Verify that both courses come from universities that have been approved by the UGC. Your online course and your regular college classes shouldn't conflict.
You need to be a good time manager. Online BBA/B.Com. programs are offered by numerous universities, including IGNOU, Amity, and NMIMS. Before enrolling, make sure the course has been approved by UGC.
With a rank of 8195 in IPU CET for BBA, you'll need to prioritize colleges that align with your preferences and consider the expected cutoffs. Given your rank, you'll likely need to focus on colleges with a general seat availability for your category (General).
Here's a suggested preference list, keeping in mind that the actual cutoffs may vary:
Prioritize These Colleges:
1. Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Professional Studies:
Known for its strong BBA program, this college is a good option for candidates with a rank around 8195.
2. Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology:
Offers a BBA program and could be a viable choice.
3. Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies:
This college might be an option if you prioritize location and program quality.
4. Chanderprabhu Jain College Of Higher Studies & School of Law:
This college is known for its strong academic programs, so it's worth considering.
5. Delhi Institute Of Advanced Studies:
This college offers BBA programs and is a good option if you prioritize location and program quality.
Things to Consider When Filling Your Preferences:
Location: Prioritize colleges that are accessible to you.
Program Quality: Research the BBA programs offered at each college.
Cutoff Ranks: Check the previous year's cutoff ranks for each college to understand your chances of getting admission.
General Seat Availability: Make sure you have a good understanding of the number of general seats available in each college.
Reservation Policies: If you belong to a reserved category, make sure you prioritize colleges that offer reserved seats for your category.
Tips for Filling Preferences:
Fill all your preferences: It's always a good idea to fill all available preference slots to increase your chances of getting admitted.
Be realistic: Don't set your priorities too high, or you might not get an admission.
Consider multiple rounds: IPU CET counselling typically has multiple rounds, so you'll have a chance to re-prioritize your preferences if you don't get your first choice in the first round.
good luck!!
