Biochemistry
Hello,
BSc Biochemistry is a 3-year undergraduate course in chemical and physio-chemical processes. It is a branch of science that deals with chemistry applied to the study of living organisms and the atoms and molecules which comprise living organisms.
Whereas biotechnology is technology that utilizes biological systems, living organisms or parts of this to develop or create different products. Which can be developed rapidly because of the new possibility to make changes in the organisms' genetic material (DNA).
Biochemistry is a pure science field, while biotechnology is an applied science field.
Biochemistry deals with the process and pathways happening inside the living cell, while biotechnology deals with the techniques to study those processes, and applications of those processes.
Currently biotechnology has more scope than the latter course.
hope this helps!!
Hello aspirant,
yes you can do msc forensic science,as there is no such restriction for doing msc forensic. Here are few options available.
Hope this helps you. All the best.
Hi aspirant,
Biochemistry of Foods attempts to emphasize the importance of biochemistry in the rapidly developing field of food science, and to provide a deeper understanding of those chemical changes occurring in foods. The development of acceptable fruits and vegetables on postharvest storage is dependent on critical biochemical transformations taking place within the plant organ. The chapters discuss how meat and fish similarly undergo postmortem chemical changes which affect their consumer acceptability. In addition to natural changes, those induced by processing or mechanical injury affect the quality of foods. Such changes can be controlled through an understanding of the chemical reactions involved, for instance, in enzymic and nonenzymic browning. Increased sophistication in food production has resulted in the widespread use of enzymes in food-processing operations.
People who goes for Bio Chemistry have the following career options;
Technology is the output of the advanced utilization of science. Also, it may be referred to as applied science. When science information is developing daily, human beings tend to apply it to get maximum advantage out of that. This rings true for the food industry too. They additionally attempt to use scientific improvements for the development of the enterprise. These applications or technologies may be categorized as food process technology, storage technology and preservation technology.
People who goes for Food Technology have the following career options;
Overall both the courses have ample career opportunities and a graduate can be easily assured of a good career.
Thank You.
Hello, To open a pathology lab you need to be a certified pathologist, then get an license to practice as a pathologist. For staff members you need a pathologist, lab technician, assistant with good knowledge of diagnosis and treatment and well trained. All the best.
Dear aspirant hope you are doing well. Dear aspirant hope you are doing well. It's difficult to predict because cut keep changing every year depends on various factors.
1. No of seat available.

As per pervious years the cut off rank for BHU PET for Msc biochemistry is 50 - 80 rank. As your rank is 26 . So you have very high chance to get admission in BHU in Msc biochemistry.
Hope it's helpful
Thank you
Generally speaking in order to pursue MSc Biochemistry, the eligibility criteria is passed BSc Hons/General in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology or in any relevant discipline of Life Science/Bio Science, for example if you consider BHU PET which is a postgraduate entrance exam in BHU for MSc Biochemistry, it clearly specifies candidate to have passed BSc Hons in Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry or BSc General with Biochemistry/Life Science/Bioscience securing 50% aggregate, even in case of Delhi University the eligibility criteria is passed BSc Hons/General in Biochemistry or any relevant discipline of life science, you can visit our page at https://www.careers360.com/courses/msc-in-biochemistry to know more details regarding this.
