No, Biology is not that compulsory for giving Vellore Institute of Technology Entrance Examination. The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the previous qualifying examination. However there is a huge difference for reserved categories that they have to score only 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination for being eligible for the examination.

Hey!
Students who have passed class tenth must now prepare for the next step, which is to select a course to pursue following class ten. Because Science, Arts, and Commerce courses are available beyond 10th grade, this needs some consideration and investigation. Not only that, but kids interested in a job-oriented curriculum may need to look into post-tenth-grade courses that allow for placement after graduation.
If you are confused about which stream to choose, then you should look over each stream before deciding. You may read the article, the link for which is provided below for a brief overview of all the streams after class 10th.
But if you are sure you want to pursue science stream, you can go with it and you can look the career prospects the course offers and scope of it.

Hello ,
You don't have any other option than to choose PCB(Physics Chemistry Biology) or PCBM(Physics Chemistry Biology Mathematics) both of which have Physics , if you really want to study biology and want a future in this field you have pursue Physics also at least till class 12.
So many students find physics as a confusing student but it is very interesting if you dedicate some time to learning concepts which your teachers can teach you .There are so many Physics content available for free on the Internet which can easily create your interest in this subject .So you should take PCB and start learning physics as there is no other better option.
Hope this helps.
