Aditi Dixit 29th Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

CSAB SFIT Eligibilty criteria,

As per the guidelines candidates should have qualified from 10+2 or equivalent exams with at least 45% aggregate marks. SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD category candidate should have obtained at least 40% aggregate marks.

Channels of CSAB are - CSAB SFTI,CSAB NUET, CSAB UT

Channel of Admission- JEE Main

Category of admission-Undergraduate

As given JEE Main as the only channel for admission it is important to have Physics, Chemistry, Maths as your 12th boards subject, biology can be optional subject nut it is important to have maths as one of the subjects in your 12th standard.

Hope this is helpful.

Good luck

is it ok if I would focus on hsc boards first and then my neet but still Im worried that I would be able to clear neet in 1st attempt in 2022but I have done with biology only revision is needed and regarding physics chemistrythey are done 50-50 ofboth 11th and 12thso where should ifocusboardsorneet

vermajismya 29th Nov, 2021
Hey aspirant

Don't need to be worry ,take deep breath and relax and tell yourself I can do it ,I will do it ,I will manage both studies and preparation too!!
If you build a confidence without any doubt and worry you will definitely achieve both the target with flying colors!!
As your hsc board is coming then focus on first of all this exam and side by side study for neet also

You can solve phy chem McQ as you don't have so much time by solving McQ you will build the concept !!
Solve pyq neet ques of chem phy for 1 hour in your busy schedule ,you can do this !!
Moreover change you thinking towards the subject as you can do biology then you can also do physics chemistry
I know biology is easier than chem physics as in biology you have to follow only ncert books and learn it and understanding it
But in physics you need little bit maths skill and try to solve ques daily basis so that you can attempt the question in less time!!
But chemistry inorganic you should read only from ncert and organic too but you have to ques practice as we can't understand the organic ques easily or we need very strong concept of goc
So in my opinion read little little in physics chem ,as you don't forget everything after giving hsc exam !!
So revise everything every day
You can manage everything dear ,try to make a time table ...I know everyone can't follow timetable but you can have a idea atleast how to complete this!!

Best of luck for your exams!!

Thank you

Sir can I study biology in science after taking standard maths

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 28th Nov, 2021

Hi

I am guessing that it is about class 10th CBSE board.

Yes, you can definitely choose Biology for your 10 + 2 in science stream even if you take  standard maths in your class 10th .

The additional benefit of choosing standard maths is you are always free to choose maths for your 10 + 2

In 10th cbse board, there are 2 options for maths.

----------) Standard maths : - it is for those who want to study  maths after 10th like those who wants to have science with MATHS i. e PCM for 11th and 12th.

----------) Basic maths :- it is for those who don't want to study maths after 10th like those who wants to science with Biology i. e PCB,  commerce, arts etc in 10+2.

To help you further,

Here are the options after 10th :-

* 10+ 2  :-

You have to choose any one of science  Commerce , Arts/Humanities streams.

---------)Science :-The science stream can be further divided into 3 groups depending upon the subjects one chooses

****** Non medical :- Science with PCM i.e physics, chemistry , maths group. There's no biology in PCM group.

You should basically choose this if you want to pursue engineering/architecture etc in future.

****** Medical :- Science with PCB i.e  physics, chemistry biology.

You should choose PCB group if you want to get into medical field like mbbs, bds, nursing etc in future .

****** PCMB :- You can even go for science with PCMB i.e physics Chemistry Maths and Biology  if you are interested in studying both Maths and Biology in your 10+2. But yes, it becomes a bit difficult to handle both biology and Maths. One advantage of choosing pcmb is after 10+2 you can go for both medical courses like MBBS, bams, nursing etc and non medical courses like engineering as well.

-----------)Commerce :- You get to study subjects like Accounts, Business studies, Economics & Maths ,Commerce etc. If you want to become a chartered accountant, company secretary, financial advisor etc in future, then commerce is for you. In commerce you acquire commercial knowledge required for business.

------------)Arts :- If you like subjects like history, polity etc then you can go for Arts. You get to study subjects like History, Geography, Literature, Political Science, economics etc. You should go for arts if you aspire to get into Journalism, literature, languages, history, psychology etc.

****** Polytechnic / Diploma in engineering  :- After   your 10th you can go for diploma courses in various branches of Engineering like mechanical, Electrical, Civil etc on the basis of your interest.

****** ITI :- ITI is a skill development course which you can go for after your 10th , you can do iti any trade of your choice like Electrician, fitter, Welder etc.

****** Paramedical courses :- after your 10th you can go for various paramedical courses for which you can get detailed information at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/paramedical-courses-after-10th-12th

If you take standard method is that means basic mathematics then you will get another code and you question paper will be separate the answer will be also the separate but in this case you will be eligible for taking physics chemistry and biology also in science. So there is no alternate option for taking mathematics with physics chemistry and biology.

Im A 11th STD Student With Biology Science..Im An Civil Service Aspirant. After 12th STD Which Course Is Better For Me To Get My Destination?Which Entrance Test Should I Focus?

Priyanka 1st Dec, 2021
See, for upsc the minimum eligibility is graduation in any field. So it all depends upon your area of interest, if you  have interest in medical field too then after MBBS, BAMS, bsc radiology, bsc nursing  you can go for upsc exam. If you are interested in bsc BA That also good. Think deeply and decide which subject you take interest and which subject you want to choose for upsc examination. Considering this will help in getting command over the subject. As you will understand  the subject easily if you are interested in that subject.

can students get mci registration on the basis having additional biology

Aashiketa 5th Dec, 2021

Hi, the information that you have shared is a little incomplete. Where do you wish to pursue your degree? What degree do you wish to pursue? If you wish to study MBBS in Russia then Students have to qualify the class 12th examination and obtain marks according to the set Medical Council of India (MCI) guidelines. There is an MCI screening test for students applying for admission in Russia and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) has to be obtained from the same to be eligible. If you still have doubts feel free to comment. Hope this helps.

neet biology is mcq ncert fingertips+ neet 33 pyq + neet champion+ aiims 24 years I have solved how much scored biology

monstwerdash 5th Jan, 2022

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well . Yes, you are doing right . If you are following the books that you have mentioned in the question then you're definitely going to score good in Biology .

I'll add a few points which you can follow to score even better in Biology . See, from the past 2&3 years Biology is being framed strictly from the NCERT textbooks of Class 11th and 12th. So, you should read biology NCERT as many times as possible and highlight and revise those parts which you tend to forget easily . Also, don't skip the summary which is given at the end of each chapter.

Learn all the labellings of the diagrams given in the two books properly and also the tables and flowcharts that are there . There's no need to refer to any other book for Biology .

Also ,you can practice the last 5 years AIIMS biology questions to have a firm grip on the concepts .

While practising ,the questions which you couldn't do in one go , mark them and then revise them frequently .

I'll like to focus on some units like Biotechnology,Ecology and Genetics . This year there were 1-2 questions from these units which were a bit tricky . So ,do read and UNDERSTAND these chapters and analyse all data given properly.

In fact I must tell you that doing AIIMS pyqs atleast last 5 years ,NCERT at fingertips for biology ,Neet biology pyqs last 10 years alongwith thorough NCERT reading would have sufficed.

If you are doing the above things along with following the books you mentioned,I can guarantee you a score of 340+ in Biology in NEET.

If you want to prepare for neet 2022,here are some useful resources which you can use to strengthen you preparation.

Hope my answer helped.

monstwerdash 26th Nov, 2021

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well. See ,you need to have biology as one of your main subjects in 11th and 12th standards to be eligible for admissions into medical colleges be it here or abroad and you also need to have  appeared for the board exams of the subject and have a marksheet and passing certificate displaying your marks in that  .

Also ,you should keep in mind that you need to have passed in the individual subjects for ex: in CBSE,the candidate needs to have atleast 50% marks in the individual subjects.

Hope my answer helped.
