Is there any difference between 2021and 2022 edition book of ncert biology

Tanya Gupta 29th Jan, 2024

Hello,

There is not a major change when it comes subsequent years' editions of NCERT. The NCERT books are usually revised and updated periodically to update any changes or updates in the subject matter.

However, the changes are really very minor that you won't even realise that there were changes. If you have the 2021 edition then you can go for it instead of purchasing the newer edition as most of the overall and core information is same.

Hope this helps,

Thank you

I have interest in music, biology and psychology so can i have scope in following subjects?

Sumedha Bhattacharya 15th Dec, 2023

Dear Mahi ,

Glad to hear that you have interests in multiple domains . But for a specific future scope , you need to choose at least one domain . Rather that can be Biology or Psychology or Music .

  • If you want to pursue with Biology , then after your 10th , you need to study with science where Biology must be a primary subject . Then you can be a Biologist or Doctor or researcher as per your choice
  • If you want to study Psychology , either you can do it in regular or you can do in distance mode . You can be a clinical or consultant Psychologist based on your choice .
  • If you want to study with music . You can proceed with B.Music then M.Music with your specific music domain after your 12th . Then you can be a professional Singer or a Music teacher .

Hope this  suggestion helps !

would I qualified NEET UG if i score 200+ marks in biology only out of 720 marks, leaving Physics and Chemistry ? And would I be reaching 40 percentile if i score said marks only in biology ?

mjaisinghani62 23rd Dec, 2023

Hello Francis

Yes you may apply for medical course  if you get 200 marks only in biology.

But whether you won't get a seat in your desired university or a desired course is difficult to say

200 marks are too less for mbbs , bds, bhms or bams .

You have not mentioned to which category you belong ?

Cut off are less for sc/ ST and obc candidate's.

For general category .

Cut off changes every year and it depends upon number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, availability of seats, Method of normalisation etc.
