HOW GET 250 MARK NEET IN BIOLOGY?

Aakanksha 18th Aug, 2022
Hi aspirant
See, out of the maximum marks for NEET i.e 720, the weightage of Biology is 360. So you just can't ho wrong with biology. Physics, chemistry are gonna help you in the rank building process. But Biology is going to guarantee your selection.

First of all you should consider NCERT Biology as your go to textbook. You must learn every single line by heart and keep it in mind. NCERT should be on your fingertips. For this, you'd need to read and learn every topic atleast 3 times.
Then, you have to make sure you have read all of your notes multiple times to not miss any question. You have to have an idea of everything what is being asked.
That way even if you don't know the answer, you can correlate with whatever information you have, and then arrive at a conclusion.
You have to aim to score 350+ to ensure your selection. Just make your concepts clear, practise a lot of mcqs and previous year questions and train yourself with a timer so as to simulate the conditions during the exam. Solve questions in a time bound manner. This will prove very beneficial for you in the final exam.

Hope this helps
All the best :)

my aggregate in pcb is 54.93 and pcbe is 62 . individual marks in chemistry is 49 , biology is 63 and physics is 51 . am i eligible for neet? will i face any difficulty during councelling

rajeevanand843 17th Aug, 2022

Dear aspirant

The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

UR - 50%,

OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

PWD - 45%

As per NEET eligibility criteria, only 50% aggregate marks is required in PCB subject and you have 54% in PCB subject so you are eligible for NEET and for counseling to take admission in medical College. Although AIIMS have different eligibility criteria for admission as they require 60% in PCB subject so you can't get admission in AIIMS medical College

you will not face any problem during the counseling and you can take admission in govt medical College.

how many times solving of previous year questions are required in neet to score 720 out of 720 and how many times i have to read ncert for biology and chemistry ??

Aditya 17th Aug, 2022

Hello Krishna,

As soon as you finish 1 chapter, go and check for the previously asked questions from that chapter. This will keep you updated. Also, make note which question you were not able to solve and as you do revisions of any chapter make sure that you solve previous year asked NEET questions again and check that the question you was not able to answer, is that question easy for you or not.

Trust me, this trick is really helpful for your preparation.

Talking about scoring out off marks in NEET, please don't take my words in a bad way but no one in this world can prepare himself or herself for the 100% Result. But yes, he/she can do his best by working hard. There's always a Luck Factor which makes someone the 1st Topper and then 2nd.

Read all Biology chapters from NCERT minimum 3 - 4 times . If you're a dropper then read the chapters at least 6 times and mark all the important points from that chapter. This is the best way to study biology. Chemistry NCERT is required for Inorganic and Organic. For both of these, follow the same method as I said for Biology.

You can also look for some tips from here :-

Believe in yourself, study harder and next year, you will be in your dream medical college.

Hope this helps. All the Best.

Thank You.

Krishna Rathod 16th Aug, 2022

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well

Yes you can definitely appear for NEET after the improvement exam. It is mandatory for candidates from general category to score minimum 50% in 10+2 level to get an admission in any medical course or any medical college. You can appear for improvement exam and you should try to score minimum 50-55% then you will be eligible for admission in medical course. Also there isn't any specific rules for repeaters in NEET examination. All the rules that are applied to a fresh student, that all same rules will be applied for repeaters as well.

Sayan 16th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Candidate should be aware of the prerequisites needed in this field of study in order to get admission in this advanced course:

  • The entrance exam's minimum necessary percentile should be between 55% and 60%.
  • A bachelor's degree in the same discipline, such as marine biology, zoology, botany, biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, fisheries, or aquaculture, is required to apply to a master's programme.

So,as per your query, Bsc biology will not eligible. It requires Bsc Botany or Zoology specifically,

And sir actually I have applied for CUET exam I chose english and agriculture and biology What I have chosen is it correct sir? Can I achieve in this

LALBEE 15th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great. It all depends on your interest and the scoring part. The most important step in preparing for the CUET in 2022 is picking the right subjects. With the aid of appropriate preparation and suitable topics, students can achieve their highest possible marks. In order for students to be allowed to take the exam, there must be a minimum score of 60%. Here are a few hints and pointers to remember as you study for the CUET exams.

Students are now able to enroll in classes that have a direct connection to subjects in Class 12. If one of the 27 domain-specific subjects on the list is not available for the undergraduate course, the candidate may choose the topic that is most similar to their preference; for example, a candidate studying biochemistry may choose biology.
