how may no of period or days and marks to complete the biology class 12 school students

Sakshi Singh 18th Jul, 2022

Hello,

To complete class 12th Biology, schools will take whole one year along with conducting exams, practical and providing holidays. Schools take this long because they have to teach the topics comprehensively.

But for students preparing for competitive exams, they can prepare whole biology in less than one year.

To pass in 12th you need to score more than 33.3% together in practical and theory exam in Biology.

Hope it helps.

If a student got 15 marks in (theory) and practical 28 in chemistry subject and in physics he scored (50) and in biology 70 ,is he/she is eligible for neet and his/her percentage is 70...

rajeevanand843 14th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant

As you have told your separate marks in theory and practical of chemistry, so first of all you should be passed overall in chemistry then only you will be eligible. If you are overall passed in chemistry then if we calculate aggregate of pcb subject then it is 163(43+50+70)/300 which is nearly 54.3%.

For neet eligibility, you need 50% aggregate marks in PCB subject if you are from Gen category and 40% if you are obc/sc/St.

So as per calculation on basis of data you have given above, you are eligible for writing neet examination. Only thing you must have passed all of your PCB subject individually.

You can use NEET UG college predictor tool for knowing chances of getting MBBS BDS ayush colleges at your expected marks.

In 12th class,I get 36 marks in physics, 41 marks in chemistry, 46 marks in biology and my pcb aggregate is 41% , I am belong to sc category, am I eligible for aiims and jipmer ? am I eligible for neet 2023 ?

tripti rai 22nd Aug, 2022
Hello ,
To appear in NEET UG, you most score following marks in 12th standard -:
1- more than 50% aggregate in PCB for UR
2- more than 40% aggregate in PCB for OBC/SC/ST

As u have more than 40% aggregate in Physics, chemistry and biology and you belong from SC , you are eligible for neet and you can get admission in any medical College in India (which includes JIPMER as well) on the basis of your neet score.

But  for admission in AIIMS, one need to score above 50% aggregate in PCB in 12th standard if he/she belongs from SC category. So unfortunately you can't get admission in AIIMS as your score is less than the qualification score.
Hope this information helps you!
All the best for your future.
