•The Cerebellum’s Granule Cell is the smallest cell in the human body that is between 4 micrometers to 4.5 micrometers long.

•The RBC ‘s size also found roughly 5 micrometers.

•The largest cell in the human male is considered to be Neuron or specifically motor neuron.It is also the longest cell in human body.The length of its axon is about 1 metres and has a diameter of 100 microns.

Saliva (also known as spit) is a fluid produced and secreted by salivary glands in the mouth. When food enters our mouth, our glands secrete saliva to start the digestion process. The enzymes found in saliva are essential in beginning the process of digestion. These enzymes also play an important role in breaking down food particles trapped within the teeth, thus protecting teeth from bacterial decay. There are various functions of saliva, and some of them are;

1. It acts as lubricant to prevent our mouth from drying up
2. Helps in digestion
3. Saliva is very important in the sense of taste.

Gastric gland are of many types each having their own role and found in different positions within the stomach.

The different glands and their distribution is as follows :

1) Cardiac Part : Mucous Neck Cells are present here which secrete mucous.

2)Fundic/Gastric part : Four Types of Cells are found here

1. Peptic/Zymogenic/Chief/Central Cells : Secrete proenzymes pepsinogen and prorennin. Smaal amount of gastric lipase is also produced.
2. Oxyntic/Parietal cells : Secrete HCL and Castle's Intrinsic factor required for vit B12 absorption.
3. Mucous Neck Cells : Secrete alkaline mucous.
4. Argentaffin/Enterochromaffin/Kultchitsky Cells : Secrete vasoconstrictor serotonin and vasodilator histamine.

3)Pyloric part :

1. Mucous Neck cells : Secrete mucous
2. G Cells : Secrete Gastric which i ncreases gastric motility and stimulates gastric juice secretion by gastric glans.

The ruminant stomach is mainly divided in four parts , which are :

1. Rumen : Largest part of stomach for churning of food with the help of cornified surface of villi . It also has symbiotic microorganisms which help in fementation of cellulose.
2. Reticulum : It is lined by keratinised epithelium
3. Omasum : Helps in mechanical churning and grinding of food Also helps in absorption of fluid and electrolytes.
4. Abomasum : Secretes gastric juice and shows chemical digestion. it is considered as true stomach of ruminants.

Note : Omasum is absent in camel .

Rumen and reticulum have diverticula or water pockets for temporary food storage.
