My son had passed 12 science exam with low merrit marks , in state board exam. Now if he exam physics, chemistry, & biology from the same state board or other open board & gets required merrit matk , can he eligible for next neet exam & medical branch like mbbs , bams, bds?

Hi

NEET eligibility criteria by nta  mentions nothing about appearing for improvement examination, but yes as per eligibility criteria by NTA for jee mains when one appears for improvement examination then he has to appear in all the five subjects otherwise it is not considered.

So, to be on the safer side to be eligible for your Neet examination if you are planning to give your 12th examination again  I would suggest you to give examination of all the 5 subjects- physics chemistry biology English and one more subject like Hindi Sanskrit Maths or any other subject of your choice  . You can even go for NIOS on demand examination for this 12th exam and don't worry NIOS is a recognised board and it is accepted for Neet examination.

Neet 2021 eligibility  criteria says that, to be eligible  one must be either appearing for the class 12th board examination 2021 or one must have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category  , or at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of general pwd candidates to be eligible.

So, after passing if you fulfill this percentage requirement in PCB as per your category then you will be eligible for Neet examination and after qualifying Neet examination you can get admission in MBBS BDS Ayush courses like BAMS, BHMS, veterinary i. e BVSc on the basis of marks/ rank obtained by you in NEET examination.

Also,
to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by  31st  December 2021

is 65% I board exam bad for future ?

Garvita 22nd Nov, 2020
Hello,

Your board result doesn't decide your future, there are some people who score average or low marks in boards and do much better in life, don't get demotivated with your boards percentage instead focus on your future goals, there are many exams you can give after your class 12th, and get a good college with your entrance exam marks, there are ample of opportunities waiting for you in life, and if you have interest in something and you are good in it, then you can definitely achieve some great heights in future.

Hope this helps, all the best.

Hello

I will give you all the steps but I personally insist thet you should inform your school about it (where you have studied in both 10th and 12th) and let them suggest you a course of action.

Step 1- You have to get the Application Form (you can do it from the respectve board's website or your school).

Step 2- Filling of the form

Step 3- Documents submission ( SLC, xerox of a page of admission and withdrawal register wrt you)

Step 4- Fee ( since you have to change your father's name the cost will be Rs 1000+ the cost of the original document)

Step 5- Submit the documents along with the application to The Principal of your school and  to your board.

can we get admission in thappar university, punjab on basis of +2 board exam marks??

theeanonymous 16th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant ,

Yes you can get admission to this college  based on you 12th board exam marks. While considering your 12th marks the merit of aggregate of three subjects namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject. However , in case there is a tie while taking your aggregate , your JEE Mains percentile will be considered , if you have appeared and cleared the same.It will be an added benefit if you have JEE mains because admissions for vacant seats in subsequent rounds of counselling will be done based on JEE(Main)-2020 rank only, so if you do not get through using your 12 marks then JEE can be helpful.

Ive scored 74.3% in my HSC board exam 2020 and Im thinking of taking a drop for JEE 2021. But Im in a doubt that will there be the same relaxation for 75% or top 20 percentile for droppers in 2021(who have given their board exam in 2020) or not. Someone please help.

ayanmukherjee045 14th Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to take a drop for jee mains if there is same relaxation of 75%.

I would prefer that you should take admission in the current college because there is no such guideline that the relaxation will still be applicable next year also. So,kindly take admission and if you want to give jee next then you can give if there is relaxation.
