what should be the study plan for the April jeemains and at the same time there are also board exams ?

Siddhi Shenoy 2nd Jan, 2020

Hello Pranav,

Since your boards and JEE Mains are almost at the same time, I would prefer you to focus more on JEE mains. If you finish your JEE mains portion before your boards starts, it will be easier to study the board syllabus as you will be already prepared with the Portion at JEE level. Just focus on getting 70 and above for boards as these marks are not so important as JEE. Please keep more focus on JEE. Solve mock tests, previous year's question papers, chapter wise tests. Refer to reference books. Study more than you know. Go through the important topics in more details. Focus on scoring chapters. See that, you study for your boards as well. Once you complete a chapter, try going for MCQs at JEE levels so that you are preparing for both the exams.

I am stressed because only a month is left for my board exams of class 12 ISC but I have not prepared any lesson or any chapter clearly and not finished my syllabus of any subject but I I want to achieve score of 95% I am ready to do I want to do anything tell me it possible to score 95 % or not

Pankhuri Kumari 30th Dec, 2019
Hii Abhishek!
Stressing at this point of time will not help you perform well in exams. I know it's very obvious to stress and you can't help it. But, the thing which you can do is, try to be calm, meditate, exercise, eat healthy and sleep well in order to maintain a good health and help you relax and releive the stress. You need to focus on your strong points at this point of time and revise as much as you can. Make small pocket notes of the topics you are weak in and revise and learn them every day. Practice as much questions and problems as you can preferably previous year question papers. This will help you get an idea of the type of questions asked in the exam. Most importantly, keep a check on your health. Relax. Everything is going to be fine. You just need to concentrate on your studies now. Hope you understand.
All the best!

guys u have some strategy for hsc board class12

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 30th Dec, 2019
Hello Mitali

To perform well in your board examination, follow the given below tips :

  • First of all make a routine and give least 8 hours or more to study , your routine should revolve around three things i.e study, revise and practice and your routine should be such that you complete the whole syllabus at least 1 month before your board examination .

  • You should make a list of important definitions, important formulas and concepts or you can make short notes  so that you can easily revise the chapters during revision for the board examination

  • You can make mind maps, flow charts for memory based topics while studying the chapters and these will help you a lot during your revision .

  • You should practise numericals and mcqs chapterwise , go through past 10 year question papers of your board examination . It will make you exam ready . Also go through at least 5 sample papers in each subject and then you will be ready to ace your board examination

Thankyou

I want to ask that in ISC board 12 class in majority of students prefer nootan practical notebook for writing practicals and submit that in practical exams if I write same practicals of PCB subjects in classmate practical notebook Is there any problem in doing this or my marks may get affected

Harshita Gupta 26th Dec, 2019

Hey,

I don't think there will be any problem with the brand or company of the book if your practicals are correct and complete. Still, I would suggest you to talk to your friends or your seniors, if you know any, that why do they all use the same nootan books?

You can also visit a nearby coaching and get information from them. But most probably, the brand of notebook will not affect your scores.

Hope this helps!

how to prepare for cbse class 12 board exams?

G VIJAYALAKSHMI 20th Dec, 2019

Dear candidate,

For the preparation of 12th board examinations first you need to prepare a time table based on the important topics in a particular subject spend more time on the more weight age subjects and allot more time on the subjects that you are not good at preparing a schedule is the first step on any preparation so make an efficient time table if you cannot study for long hours take consecutive  breaks do not stress yourself i suggest you to study text books more instead of studying in materials all the time because by studying in text book you will get good grip on the subject after studying textbook give a glance on material which gives you an idea of the way of presenting and question models. Refer previous year question papers and try to answer the questions this gains you confidence always take notes while you are studying which becomes very handful in the last days of your examination. Improve your presentation skills.

All the best.

hope this is helpful.

hello can you tell me how to let go things and forget my past unit test results and focus on my pre board and board exams??? (I am student of class 12 my last unit test did not gone well. )

G VIJAYALAKSHMI 18th Dec, 2019

Dear candidate,

I suggest you no not to just let go of your past results but you take it as a challenge to beat your past test marks in such a way that you will never have to feel bad about any other test that you will be writing. Don't feel bad about your past marks because it is past it had happened and you can't change it. Observe  the mistakes that you have done in the previous test remember them in such a way that you will never do them again. Failure is the stepping stone of success. Prepare a schedule for the upcoming tests focus a little bit more on the subjects that you are not good at. Do meditation every morning which helps you mind calm down and it gives you peace, relief and develops positive thoughts.

All the best!
