Talking about your query for books required for preparing for NEET examination. I would suggest you to study from NCERT as this books is for entrance examination.
For biology: - NCERT is must because maximum questions came directly from NCERT book. Prepare some from advance books but NCERT is more than enough.
For Physics:- NCERT and HC Verma is the best. No need to go anywhere apart from these.
For Chemistry:- NCERT and several modules. You can go for any side book for chemistry. Choose books separately for Inorganic chemistry, for organic chemistry and for physical chemistry.
I hope this answer helps you.

Collect 10 years previous questions of 12th class in which stream of subjects you are taking for. Practice the MCQ pattern mock test from the previous years question papers, practice it regularly. Everyday revise the previous days task and tests and question and answer that related to it. Maitain a time schedule that should be prepared systematically . You should have a leasur time of 2 hours other than 10 to 12hours of study. Perfect preparation with hard labour, sincere practice, whole hearted intention for seeking of not the good but the best result in 12th class examination.
Hello Aspirant ,
Different people will suggest you different books and some will even suggest you multiple books for one subject but you should choose quality over quantity and revise one book multiple time instead of reading multiple books one time .
Books for General studies are :
GS2 : Laksmikant for polity and internet+Newspaper for every other topics + 2nd ARC report.
GS3 : Indian Economy by sanjeev sharma or Ramesh singh and internet+Newspaper for every other topics, Shankar IAS for Environment .
GS4 : Lexicon Ethics and internet+Newspaper for every other topics.
Yes , NCERT of class 11 and 12 chemistry is enough to score 80% marks in JEE Mains organic chemistry section which is a very good score , but you will have to complete each and every thing and supplement it with previous year question papers .
If you have time then you can refer to other books such as OP tondon or JD LEE.
If you are going for the IIT JAM Physics examination, then if you have solved the EMT, Digitial Logic Gates/Boolean Algebra, MECHANICS problem from 10+2 level books, then it would be helpful. So you can think of about 20-22 marks from this. But if you want to score good, then I would recommend you to go for Griffiths for Electrodynamics. Also you should study the Mathematical Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Solid State Physics & Analog Electronics particularly, BJT, Diodes, Oscillators etc, in order to get a good score of around 40-60 which can lead you to be an IITian.
