Can you suggest best book to revise the concepts and basic problems for jee mains?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 23rd Jun, 2021

Revising from books can be really time consuming. Now I would say preparing a summary notebook is always important in order to crack any exam. As during revision reading the summary note book will help you coup up with most of the theories which can be helpful for the exam.

Now if you don't prepare any such then you can follow the formulae books or books you know which are available only for knowing formulae etc like JEE MAINS for last 40 days by Arihant etc. This books can be instrumental for revision.

Now if you don't want any of the above. Then I would suggest go though NCERT for the important points and markings as well as the problems from NCERT are the most basics. Now for Physics you can follow up important numericals from HCV/DC Pandey, For chemistry revision use of flowchart is very helpful especially for Organic Chemistry. Now you can make one flowchart or you can just get a pdf by searching online. For chemistry problem I would say go for P.Bahadur initial problems they are pretty basics. For Mathematics you can go through RD SHARMA/ Amit.M. Aggarwal books, the problems there will intensify your understanding as well as your skills.

I have one year to prepare for jee,and Im studying 12th std and Im studying tnscert books Im wasted 11th std I dont know any concept in 11th std subject Is 12th tnscert books and jee book is enough or should I study 11th std subject

Subhrajit Mukherjee 23rd Jun, 2021

See this situation can be intermediating but its not impossible. Let me assure you if you are hardworking and if you have the perseverance and sincerity then you will definitely crack it.

As you say you have wasted 11 that means that you didn't have good preparation in your 11th. Now as you know JEE has equal weightage from 11 and 12 syllabus so you have to prepare both.

Now the most important for JEE is that you need to focus on 10+2 as well as JEE. Thus you have to cover up both the portions simultaneously. Suppose the tution teachers or your school teachers will be teaching you the 10+2 syllabus, go through it in such that you prepare the syllabus of JEE as well as 10+2. This way at the end you will finish both the 10+2 syllabus as well as JEE 10+2 part. Now for the part of 11 you have invest some time every day to clear your backlogs. If you can study in bits both the 11 and 12 syllabus then by January you will complete 100% of 10+2 and JEE 10+2 part and 90% of the JEE class 11 part. Now depending on your preparation you can invest more time to class 11 and try on practicing problems which will really help you to have a great preparation.

The confusion regarding the books can be solved in a mental approach. I would say you should read the theories from the book you understand. Many students feel hard to read NCERT and they won't feel comfortable with NCERT's. So I would recommend you to study from any book which you can understand from it and for problems you have consider the standard books. Also don't be dependent on the study materials very much. Its a classic mistake which you shouldn't repeat.

For 11th and 12th standard you have to know the theories particularly for Physics. So do study it compulsively. Now as you have less time then I would say study HCV and just go with DC PANDEY mechanics. As DC PANDEY mechanics has a lot of solved problems you will learn the problem solving skills as well as the theories more definitively. For Chemistry you can go for NCERT as well as P.BAHADUR for Physical Chemistry. This book have good summary which you can understand easily and have a lot of problems which will strengthen your concepts. For Mathematics you should follow Amit. M. Aggarwal at least as for Mathematics NCERT isn't sufficient. Also if you have JEE books like JEE at your Fingertips etc you can use them for problem practice and not rely on them too much as they contain a lot of conceptual as well as printing mistakes.

Also preparation can be really easy if you have good guidance. So having a good teacher or a institution can be really helpful. Career360 offers some really good courses for JEE as well as crash courses. So to stay tuned use the career360 app about the courses offered for 2022.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Would it be right to take chrome book instead of laptops for college or NITs/IITs students.

suchayitaanusaha 21st Jun, 2021

Hello,

Chrome book is a new device. It's mainly Chrome OS  operating system that is Google operate base system. So there windows and Mac OS systems programmes are not working. Only Google operating system work there. And it's budget friendly device than windows laptop or macbook.

But one problem in your college very few students may be use this device and everyone use windows or macbook. So if any programme which is continuing in Mac OS or windows this are not going in your chrome book so it's a huge problem. I'll suggest you buy laptop macbook. It will easy to make any things and organised in your college Life. Now Choice is totally yours.

All the best.

there is any difference between ncert biology book 2019 and 2020 edition

Abhishek Roy 20th Jun, 2021

There is no major difference in the Core Content and Theory of NCERT Biology 2019 and 2020 Editions, and you may definitely refer to former edition for educational purposes. A new NCERT edition has hardly few minor changes in exercises and revision of errors in them. According to a Circular by NCERT in April 2020, they had made 1334 changes in NCERT Books, at an average of 7 changes per book, which may be considered. You may take note of the changes later if required.

which is the best book that I can refer for bsc nursing entrance exam in tamil nadu bord

Rishin Halder 20th Jun, 2021

Hello aspirant,

It is very important to pick the right book, as it will not only increase the chances of clearing the examination but also take away the tension of finding proper information. This examination primarily consists of questions that are related to everything one has studied in 10+2. So, you do not have to buy more reference books, like the ones that you referred to in school will also do the job. Some of the best books available for Nursing Entrance Exam preparation are: Nursing Entrance Exam Guide by RPH Editorial Board; B.Sc.Nursing Entrance Guide by Arihant Experts; Exercise book of Nursing Research by INdarjit Walia; Essentials of Pediatrics Nursing by Rimple Sharma; Human Nutrition by B.Srilakshmi; General Nursing and Midwifery Auxiliary Nurse and midwife(ANM) Guide: Entrance Exam by RPH Editorial Board.

Hope this helps,

All the Best!!
