Dear aspirant,
I would recommend you to follow one material religiously to Ace any competitive exam. A lot of toppers have mentioned this in their interview as well. Look at the official syllabus of whatever competitive exam you are preparing for and try to compare it with the study material that you have. Refer other materials only if you feel like the topic in the syllabus is not covered in the material. Take help from other material whenever you don't understand the concepts well from your material. After solving your material religiously, solve previous year questions and take times tests.
This should help you Ace your competitive examination
I wish you all the best

About 90 to 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the standard 19 courses covered throughout the MBBS programme will be answered in the NIMHANS exam. These MCQs would be similar to those asked in other postgraduate admission exams like the AIIMS and JIPMER. Your study material for this section will be the same as it is for other All India exams.
50–60 MCQs from all other areas, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmacology, pathology, ophthalmology, medicine, surgery, psychiatry, radiology, and anaesthesia, are related to sections on neurology.
Read neurology part from
A) Harrison for neurology
B) Ganong for neurophysiology
C) Snell's neuroanatomy
D) Neurobiochemistry from Harper
E) Neuro-microbiology from Paniker
F) neuropharmacology from KDT
G)Neuropathology from Robbins
H) neuroopthalmology from Parson,
I) Neuroradiology
K) Psychiatry from Kaplan.
I hope this helps.
