I had been a dropper for one year and now I am in 1st year of B.Sc with zoology, botany, chemistry and communicative english as subjects.Which code should I select for the registration of the NEET 2022 exam?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 9th Apr, 2022

Hi

You need to choose the code 02 while filling neet 2022 application form

This is because,

Though you are doing BSc  your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology remains your 10+2 as you don't have physics in your bsc

While, those who have passed 1st year of 3 year graduation with all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology needs to select code 5 and those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

-----------------------------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2022 examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

-----------------------------) Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English

-----------------------------) Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination  with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology should also contain practical exam.

-----------------------------) Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology after passing hsc i. e 10+2 or puc or equivalent.

-----------------------------) Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who have passed  1 st year 3 year graduation with all the three of  Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology

-----------------------------) Code 6 :- code 6 is for all those students who have passed  BSc  with at least any two of following subjects :-

>>>>Physics,

>>>>chemistry ,

>>>>biology/biotechnology

-----------------------------) Code 7 :- code 7 is for those who have passed their examination from foreign board which is equivalent of Indian 10+2 board.

Anushri Varshney 6th Apr, 2022

Hello hello,

The chances are very high that you will be able to get admissions on the basis of the marks scored in bachelors degree.

See, as you have mentioned that you have scored 70% marks which means you have qualified the cutoff criteria of mostly colleges. Since the cutoff generally is around 55% so you have passed that.

Apart from this you have not mentioned the  college name in which you want to take admissions for Msc COURSE. So better to mention that college so that I can provide you appropriate answers for the same.

I hope this answer will help you. Thank you and good luck:)

can I get admission in bsc botany with one year gap

Anchal Bal 11th May, 2022

Hi,

Since  you're a dropper so you need need to think for what reason you have dropped 1 year of what you are preparing or it might be your personal problem. If you're preparing for something or any exam you should go in that field only doesn't matter you have invested 1 year. There should not be any problem for what you wanted to do. and this thing does not matter that you're fresher or dropper the most of the colleges accepts minimum 2 years gap. So it not such a big issue.

So if you want to go further for B.Sc than you should go forward with it and if you have good marks in 12th than it may give you free hand over admission process in many good colleges.

Good Luck.
