The parent has filed a PIL in the Supreme Court requesting for not to conduct the entrance examination like JEE Mains and NEET to be postponed further due to the increased cases (Pandemic in the world). So, the many of big institute has stopped their form due to hearing of that case, so until that date is finalized then hopefully they may start conducting entrance exam.

So, it is clear that there is no new update.

Hello,
If you have Chemistry for all 3 years and if you want to give IIT JAM for chemistry then you can apply for this exam. Chemistry is the only subject required if you want to give JAM for chemistry.
If you score good marks then you will surely get IIT or any other good college.
Here is the link to JAM exam details

Thank you and all the best
It totally depends on your interest. Both the fields are valuable in terms of future prospects.
But you can do Bsc in any of these subjects and after that for Msc you can change your stream into Microbiology, Biotechnology or any other field available in the college.
JAM entrance exam is available after undergraduation so that you can get a good college.
To be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. You have more than 50% and so you are eligible for NEET irrespective of your Category..
