Abhishek 20th Aug, 2024

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well.

If you have completed a diploma in Computer Engineering and are now looking to pursue a B.Sc. in Computer Science, the process and details will vary based on the institution you choose.

Generally  for a B.Sc. program in Computer Science, fees can range between 30000 to 1 lakh per year at most institutions though this can vary based on the college location, reputation, and facilities.

Since you are from an open category, you would be eligible for the general fee structure without any specific reservations or discounts. Admissions typically begin in the summer months with application processes often starting a few months earlier.

You can check the college website or contact their admission office directly for the most accurate information regarding application dates, fee structures, and admission requirements.

Hope this resolves your query.

without giving agriculture practical exam is i found bsc agriculture admission with KCET ranking

Nitin Kumar 13th Jun, 2024

In most cases, securing admission to a B.Sc. Agriculture program through KCET (Karnataka CET)  requires appearing for and qualifying in the Agricultural Practical Test along with your KCET ranking.

The Agricultural Practical Test is often conducted separately from the KCET written exam. It might have a qualifying weightage in the final selection process.

can i apply bsc still i have compartment in chemistry

Nitin Kumar 13th Jun, 2024

Some universities or colleges might allow admission with a compartment, while others might require you to clear it before joining the program. Check the admission brochure or website of the specific colleges you are interested in.

The BSc program itself might have Chemistry as a mandatory subject. In such cases, a compartment might be a hindrance.

If you're already pursuing a BSc program and have a compartment in Chemistry from a previous semester, you might need to,

  • Clear the compartment exam within the stipulated timeframe set by your university.

  • Re-register for the Chemistry course if failing the compartment exam affects your progression in the program.

The specific BSc program you are applying to can also influence your eligibility. For example, a BSc in Chemistry might require you to have passed Chemistry without a compartment, while a BSc in another subject (like Botany or Mathematics) might be more flexible.

    I hope it helps!

Radhika Goyal 27th Jul, 2024

Hy,

Yes, it's possible to pursue a Master of Design (M.Des) after completing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Zoology, though it may require meeting certain prerequisites depending on the program and college.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Bachelor’s Degree : Many M.Des programs accept students from diverse undergraduate backgrounds, not necessarily limited to design. Your B.Sc. in Zoology would be acceptable if you met the program’s general requirements.
  • Some programs might require you to have completed certain foundational courses or have a portfolio demonstrating design skills or interest in the field.
  • If the program requires a portfolio, you'll need to demonstrate your design skills, projects, or relevant creative work. If you lack a design background, consider taking foundational design courses or workshops to build a portfolio.
  • Some M.Des programs might require you to pass entrance exams or interviews that test your design aptitude and creativity.

Here are some reputable design schools in India where you might consider applying:

  1. National Institute of Design (NID) : is known for its comprehensive design programs and entrance exams.

  2. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay : Offers an M.Des program with various specializations.
