Kindly mention the college /university name about which you are seeking information so that you can get a detailed answer. However, you must first check with the admission cell at your college/university regarding the procedure of changing streams . If your selection has been done through entrance, then it might be a problem as you have appeared for a certain course.
Thankyou!
Hello there, From your inquiry, it seems that you have finished 12th PCM and now wish to complete 12th PCB in order to be qualified for NEET. This has happened to one of my students as well, and we have dealt with it. So allow me to fill you in. Writing the NEET will not be an issue, however the institution may not accept it throughout the documentation verification process. If you want to go to a private college, your chances are better. Wherever you go, MCI will offer an eligibility certificate, and you will be required to have completed 11th grade in addition to 12th grade. As a result, make your selection based on this information. If your goal is to work hard and earn a government job, you should focus on getting through the 12th grade and getting your diploma. You must also pass 11th grade if you want to study abroad.
Hi aspirant,
According to the current eligibility criteria of CBSE for appearing in board Examinations, the minimum age limit to appear for CBSE class 10th board exam is 14 years, by the 31st December of the year of examination. For your mentioned scenario, the age of your son will be 14 on 10th January of 2026, so he will be surely eligible to write the examination provided that he will be fulfilling the age criteria.
Hope it helps!!
The CBSE board has not fixed any minimum/maximum age to appear in the CBSE Class 10th examination. However, at the time of admission, the student should satisfy the requirements of age limits (minimum & maximum) as determined by the State/U.T. Government and applicable to the place where the school is located.
Read the information below -
14 years is the minimum age to appear in 10th CBSE Board.
As per calculation, your child will be of 14 and half years, so he/she can appear for exam.
But, one more thing, there should be sequence of classes i.e.7th,8th,9th completed.
They only they can attempt 10th BOARDS

Dear student,
Yes you can go for the NIOS board for the improvement of the marks in mathematics even if you are in the 3rd year of the Engineering but it my contradict your studies for the semester exam of 5 semester.
If you completed class 12th mathematics from National Institute of Open Learning are surely eligible to take admission in regular engineering college. This is simply because NIOS is a recognized board. So, you don't need to worry about this at all.
Hello Tenmoy sen ,
You need to apply for improvement exam.....
For one or more subjects, you can apply for improvement exams. However, a student who has failed a subject cannot take an improvement test for that subject, instead, he/she should take compartment exams.
Based on the Results 2021, students who have failed to secure minimum qualifying marks in one subject and placed in compartment category.
Students who are not satisfied with their marks obtained as per the new evaluation scheme stipulated by the CBSE Board for academic year 2020-21. As per this policy, marks obtained in the later exam will be considered as final.
Hope this helps
