CBSE
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
You must complete 6 subjects, of which 2 must be in a language. The remaining 4 must be in math, physics, social studies, and one more subject—call let's it computer science for now. If you receive an 80 out of 100 in those four courses, Cbse will calculate your percentage as the marks from two languages plus the marks from the other three subjects (CS will be left out). If you receive an overall score of 80 and 70 in math, the math will be ignored when determining your percentage. Maths is compulsory for IITS (javascript%3A;)
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
That totally depends on what you are aiming for. The replacement of marks of additional subjects and the main subject is not like you will get the marks of IT on your Hindi section. It runs like when you calculate your total percentage you have got, you can replace your lowest marks of the main subjects from the marks of the additional subject since CBSE schools goes for the best five marks for the calculation of final percentage of the students.
However, for the admission procedures in different schools after 10th, it depends on the schools to consider the percentage of main five subjects or the best five subjects to admit the student in their schools.
Replacement of marks of additional subjects and your main course subject is not like they will swap the marks you got in Hindi and Mathematics on your marksheet. It works like if you calculate the total percentage you got in your class, you can take the marks of your additional subject to consider in place of the subject you have got the least marks in. CBSE schools consider this method only to release the merit list of their students.
If you're in 10th and aiming to get admission in 11th in any school, it depends on the schools if they consider your main five subject marks or the best five subject marks for the admission.
If you're in 12th and are trying for different colleges to get in, it depends on your course which you wish to study further and also some criterias and eligibility of the colleges. In most cases for general courses, colleges take the best three or best four subjects marks consideration for the admission process.
So, good luck.
Results for the class of 10 do not include grades or percentages from CBSE. One will merely receive grades and a CGPA.
Results for the 12th grade do include marks, but not percentages. To be admitted to colleges, those marks must be converted to percentages.
Additionally, no one is permitted to round off their percentages due to the fierce competition during admissions. You will calculate it up to two digits after the decimal if necessary. You must perform the actions listed below in order to compute your percentage of your CBSE Class 10 board marks: Add the grade points for all major subjects in step one. Step 2: Multiply this amount by 5. Step 3: 9.5 must now be added to the results of step 2.

If a candidate receives a fractional total of marks, that fraction will be rounded up to the next higher number; for instance, if a student receives 16.1, the total will be rounded up to 17.

Hey I am a dropper willing to give jee mains in 2023 .I scored 71 % in 12 board! Am I eligible for Jee advance after qualifying mains!?
Dear aspirant,
First off all the board exam scores and JEE Mains scores are excellent.
With 197 marks, he has a very good chance of getting 99+ percentile . This percentile can fetch him a rank around 6 K .
Marks versus percentile
He has an excellent chance of getting EEE, Mechanical, Civil, ECE (a small chance) in NIT Trichy .
He has a very good chance of getting top NITs even though getting CSE in top NIT is slightly difficult.
He can get CSE in NIT Calicut, MNIT Allahabad, NIT Meghalaya and Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal
He has a good chance of getting CSE in SASTRA, Amrita (if you are opting to get in via JEE Mains stream)
These predictions are made based on the previous year trends and hence is subject to change based on the number of students attempting the exam, the difficulty level of the paper, the preference of the students etc.

Yes, you can.
IAT Exam, often referred to as IISER Aptitude Exam, is a national-level test that is given to applicants for admission to different undergraduate and dual degree programmes at various IISER centres.
This test is administered annually by the IISER (Indian Institute of Science Education and Research) for admission to the BS and BS-MS dual degree programmes. For the three channels—SCB, JEE Advanced, and KVPY—different registration procedures must be followed for the test.
ELIGIBILITY
The applicant must have earned a passing grade in class 12 or its equivalent from any reputable Board or University.
The candidate must have completed the Science Stream.
Students who apply through the SCB route must take the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), which will be held at several locations across the nation.
There is no official cut-off as such for getting into PCB stream. If you pass class 10 you should be able to pursue any stream of your choice. Some schools might have some cut-off as the PCB/PCM branches are highly preferred so they'll prefer offering it to students with better marks. Otherwise, there is no official cut-off, as long as you are interested, you can pursue it.
Hope this helps.
