My 12th CBSE percentage is 70% but I have got JEE score as 99.7 percentile. Am I eligible to apply NIT Trichy? I am confused on the 75% minimum cut off for CBSE board 12th class. Please help me.

Hello Aspirant,

To be eligible for NITs one needs at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to the general category.

official eligibility criteria states "Students should have passed the 12th class with a minimum of 75% marks or they should be in the top 20 percentile

if there is no compartment exams for class 12th cbse term 2, what happens if you fail in a couple of subjects?

Hi there,

The cbse has produced 2 terms for the class 10th and 12th so they need to pass both terms in order to get the final status as PASSED.

In term one CBSE has not declared declared status, only after tem 2 the final status will be provided.

if someone got 80% in term one, passed term 2 practical but failed in term 2 theory cbse class 12th will they be considered pass or fail in 12th?

See , frankly speaking, this year many new guidelines have been issued by the C.B.S.E . So , it will be better if you wait for the results to be declared. If , you are failing in one or two subjects, you can again give the exam this year and

Hello Dear,

No you need not to give practicals in improvement exam untill and unless you have scored the passing marks in practicals. You only have to appear for theory exam for the subject you have applied for. Hope this helps.

YES you can shoe the UP Board Class 12th Marksheet next year for JEE Mains exam if you have shown the CBSE Board class 12th marksheet.

But remember that every candidates are allowed to give JEE Mains for 3 consecutive times only and JEE advance for 2 consecutive

I got 75% above in all subjects combined (p, c, m, english), and also the "per subject 60%" criteria too. but my percentage of only p+c+m out of total p+c+m is just 74.68%. and, i also checked that theyre asking for individual eng marks (cbse) too. so, am i eligible for bits pilani, or not?

With 74.68 % i. e less than 75 % in PCM aggregate , you are not eligible

This is because,

To be eligible you need  at least 75 % in aggregate of maths, physics, & chemistry   .

Hi , Currently I am NRI studying in CBSE 8th class outside india. I am from Karnataka and I want to give NEET exam for studying MBBS in karnatka. If I study 10th and PUC from karnatka and I am permanent residence of Karnataka , Am I eligible for 85% state quota ?

There is no such mentions related to the question asked by you about the marking criteria of CBSE.

See, it completely depends upon the examiner.  If the examiner doesn't mind what you have written in MCQ or you just have only marked the correct option.
