I did not prepare at all for my 12th boards exam. Is it possible to skip boards exam this semester and again apply for it next year?

Yes, it is possible to appear for the 12th board examination next year. If you miss this year's exam, you will be marked as absent and your result will not be declared. After that, you can reapply as a private candidate through the CBSE website for the next academic session.

NCERT books, previous year's question papers, and sample papers are indeed the most imperative while dealing with boards. However, they alone should not be your guide.

so according to cbse 5 subject rule for boards exam 2024-25. my additional subject is information technology. if i got good marks in 5 subject and low in one subject say maths . Thn my maths mark is replaced by marks of IT. will i get a topper rank?
