how will central university conducts ug admission 2021 while they have cancelled CUCET 2021???

Dear Aspirant,

As per the latest information CUCET will not take place for this session due to COVID-19 situation. To conduct the admission procedure smoothly Universities are advised to begin with their own admission process as they used to do. CUCET will most probably be implemented for session 2022-2023.

I want to get admission in Central University for MCA. As CUCET exam cancelled this year for the session 2021-22. As per UGC guidelines they are saying university will take students as per past practice. So what is the procedure to get admission. Am I able to get admission? Please help!

Hello,

NTA has already released the application form of CUCET on 16th August, and the last date to fill in the application form is 1st September, MCA is offered by Central University of Karnataka and Haryana, the eligibility critetia is passed bachelor's degree in mathematics/computer science/statistics/operation research securing 50% aggregate from a recognized university, there is relaxation of 5% for OBC-NLC/SC/ST categories.

this year a total of 12 universities are participating in CUCET, the course code is PGQP26, the entrance test will be conducted  for a duration of two hours in online mode with 100 questions divided into two parts-

  • Part A has 25 questions from English/General Knowledge/Numerical Ability
  • Part B has 75 questions from the subject itself which is computer application in your case

There is negative marking scheme, for each wrong attempt 0.25 mark is deduced, for each correct answer one mark is awarded

what is the marks needed for central university of Hyderabad for inegrated msc optometry for 100 marks

Hey,

Integrated Master of Optometry is a 6 year course and you need 60% marks in your 10+2 or equivalent in Science. You also need to have Physics, Biology, Mathematics and English as one of the subject in your 10+2.  Also you are only eligible if you have passed your 10+2 in last four years.

The entrance test of CUCET isn't that tough , since you specifically asked about BSc Psychology, then the entrance test will be held in English, for each correct answer four marks are awarded, and in case of each incorrect attempt one mark is deduced, there will be a total of 100 MCQs from sections such as English/Numerical Aptitude or Data Interpretation, Reasoning, General Aptitude and General Knowledge, you just need to have a strong hold on the basics, that's it but yes, seats are limited here, hence try to give your best efforts, and go through previous year paper in order to get more acquainted with exam pattern, marking scheme, important topics, through regular practice you will be able to know your areas of strength and weakness, and improve your speed, time management skills.

the Pondicherry central University exam 2021 is expected to be september 2021.

for integrated course selection is based on tie breaking criteria

  • 1st criteria - Much preference will be given to those candidates who secure more positive marks
  • 2nd criteria - Much preference will be given to those candidates who secure less negative marks
  • 3rd criteria- Class 10th or equivalent examination marks will be considered
  • 4th criteria - older age candidates will be given much preference
  • 5th criteria - The criteria devised by the university as deemed fit will be considered to resolve the tie, if the tie still persists.

When the Central University oof Kashmir start entrance registration for M.sc student new batches

Hello !

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is conducted by ten central universities to offer admission in their offered courses. CUCET is a national level entrance exam which is conducted once a year. Through CUCET written exam, candidates get admission into the PG programmes.

UGC on Sunday has announced that CUCET for PG  admissions will not be implemented for the year 2021-22 academic session in view of the coronavirus pandemic. So there will be no exam this year,hence no registration.

There is no news regarding the opening of Central University of Andhra Pradesh, Anantapur. So it is difficult to tell when the college will reopen. The colleges were closed due to the ongoing pandemic but as the pandemic is coming under control it is expected that the colleges will reopen soon. when central University of Andhra Pradesh will reopen for offline classes for 3rd semester

See there are no official notification for the reopening of the campus for Central University of Andhra Pradesh for any of the courses. So you should wait some times for the official notification (if any). Its probable that a third wave of covid is approaching to India as a result there are possibilities that the classes will be online as its going on.
