I finished grade 13 i took biology and chemistry in Alevel from cabridge (IGCIE) Is it necessary to have physics and english Alevel certificate to be eligible to write the NEET exam?

Sudeshna Dutta 1st Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.

For undergraduate entrance, students at most Indian institutions must have marks or percentages. To compensate for the lack of grades, colleges and universities provide Percentage Uniform Marks (PUMs). Since students in India get Percentage Uniform Marks for each subject, there is no need to convert grades. On the Statement of Results, next to the grades, you will see percentage uniform marks.
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!

if I work hard and do self study for the subjects biology and chemistry and go to tution for the subject physics can I score above 675 marks in neet

piyush263001 31st Oct, 2021

Hello,

The very first thing you need to know that if you wish to score 675 marks or you make any target, you first have to believe in yourself that you can do it.

Now coming to the preparation part . NCERT biology is enough for the NEET examination. If a student has in-depth knowledge of topics in NCERT Biology then he can easily score 360/360 in biology. One must read NCERT line by line and must never avoid any concept.

• Chemistry portion also is very much from NCERT only. Questions from inorganic chemistry are directly asked from NCERT. So if one can memorise all the reactions and the other concepts one can score very good marks in chemistry.

• Physics is the subject that most NEET aspirant find difficult. So practice as much as you can in Physics and clear each and every basic concept of this subject.

Also practice questions regularly and give mock tests. Analyze your test and also mistakes you made so yo don't repeat them. And work hard and smart and you will reach you goal.

I am a student of class 12 my subject combination is chemistry nutrition computer applications biology. can I do nutrition honours after hs exam in 2022 . can I choose subject like-- nutrition chemistry and math??

Subhrajit Mukherjee 31st Oct, 2021

If you have Biology in your 10+2 then you can obviously go for the course of Nutrition. In general most colleges in Westbengal offers Chemistry as an Generic Elective but usually Mathematics isn't offered with such combination. There are many colleges which offers combination such as Nutrition, Zoology, Botany. So having mathematics can be a concern but apart from that you can obviously get chemistry as one of your subjects.

Sudeshna Dutta 31st Oct, 2021

Hi

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but you are not eligible for B Pharma in Dispar i. e Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, New Delhi

This is because ,

To be eligible for B Pharma one needs at least 55% marks seperately in each of physics, chemistry biology /mathematics but you fail to fulfill this criteria as in physics, you have

54 / 100 marks

= 54% in Physics

=  less than 55% and thus not eligible for B pharma is Dispar

For your reference eligibility criteria for B Pharma is provided below in Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, New Delhi

One needs to pass 12th / equivalent  with English , Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biology as optional with at least 55 % in aggregate (theory and practical) and also 55 % individually  in each of the 3  science subjects i. e physics , Chemistry and Biology /Maths

You can check the same by visiting our page the link for which is given below:-
