The safe score to get call from the PSU's is AIR 500 in GATE.Note that IOCL does not recruit freshers they only recruit 2 year experience Candidates.Ntpc

Hope you are doing great ! No both the chapters including surface chemistry and solutions have been removed from the syllabus of viteee 2022 ,as the syllabus has been released ,so there are neither solution nor surface chemistry ,so avoid these chapters and focus on the others
