Shivam Kumar 6th Oct, 2021

Dear aspirant

This rank (11342) must be your CRL Rank and not Category Rank.

With 97-98.9 percentile your ST Category rank must be within 500.

Kindly verify your scorecard once again and mention the marks and category rank as mentioned in it to get your query answered.

Is ----- chemistry everyday life ,polymers and bio molecules enough from NCERT for jee mains and sir which is easy to learn i have done polymers from rest others.:)

Ayush 5th Oct, 2021

Hello candidate,

Chemistry in everyday life, polymers, and biomolecules are most important for the JEE Mains examination and the syllabus for from this chapter does not come very frequently in the JEE advanced examination. So, it's better that you focus on the JEE Mains examination perspective in order for preparing for the chapters people in depth question from the chapter are not expected very often as per previous year trends. So, NCERT class 11th and class 12th text books would be enough for solving most of the questio in previous year paper from these chapters.

Good Luck!!

I had selected code 1 during phase 1 application for neet as I was still waiting for my results. But now as the results are out shall I select code 5 as i have taken admission in first year bsc chemistry as my 2nd option?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 5th Oct, 2021

Hi

You need to choose code 2 and not code 5 .

This because,

You have just taken admission in bsc so y our highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology remains your 10+2

While, those who have passed 1st year of 3 year graduation with all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology needs to select code 5

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

--------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2021  examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

--------) Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English

--------) Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination  with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology should also contain practical exam.

--------) Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology after passing hsc i. e 10+2 or puc or equivalent.

--------) Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who have passed  1 st year 3 year graduation with all the three of  Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology

--------) Code 6 :- code 6 is for all those students who have passed  BSc  with at least any two of following subjects :-

>>>>Physics,

>>>>chemistry ,

>>>>biology/biotechnology

--------) Code 7 :- code 7 is for those who have passed their examination from foreign board which is equivalent of Indian 10+2 board.

Bhavesh gupta 5th Oct, 2021

Hello aspirant

hope you are doing well and safe. As per your query , I would glad to inform you that it is very difficult to predicted the percentile based on the marks mentioned in your query because every year due to variation in  number of applicants and its difficulty level their may be high variation of percentile so dont expect with the results , go ahead with your 100 percent

Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future

sir i did B.sc With chemistry, maths, physics .am i eligible for pgdmlt?

ketkee2000 4th Oct, 2021
The eligibility of PGD in Medical Laboratory Technology is to have pursued a BSC in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or any other equivalent subjects with a minimum of 40% marks. To pursue PGDMLT candidates can directly apply to their preferred colleges as there are no entrance exams for this course.
So you can choose another better option of your stream .

Anurag Khanna 4th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See we need to know in which BA program, you want to enroll because according to it the best four percentage would be calculated.

To make you more clear let me make you clear how the Best four marks are calculated for admissions :-

-->> Marks one language and three academic/elective subjects are taken into consideration.

-->> The three academic/elective subject includes -

** One subject in which admission is sought.

** If you don't mention the same subject in your best 4 in which admission is sought then a disadvantage of 2.5% will be applicable, for admissions in Honours programme.

-->> Two academic/ elective subjects from List A* and in case you do not include the two subjects in best 4 from List A* then you will get -2.5% on your total best 4 percentage.

-->> The subjects included in the calculation of ‘Best of Four’ must have at least 70% theory component and in case the criteria does not met then the marks of theory and practical shall be converted into 70% and 30% on pro rata basis.

* For more details and subjects available in the List A kindly check out the link given below :-

https://university.careers360.com/articles/delhi-university-admissions-how-calculate-best-of-four-marks

Since you have not mentioned in which BA program you are seeking admission so it is very difficult to tell your best 4 percentage because if you are seeking admission BA hons. in English then best four percentage would be different and if it is in any other then it would differ accordingly. However after reading the process mentioned above you can calculate the best four percentage by yourself.

You can also use DU College predictor tool which will tell you what all colleges you can get based upon your best four percentage :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
