Chemistry
Hello
CBSE (or most boards) calculates your best 5 subjects out of 6, only if Yoga is officially considered an academic/elective subject.
Yoga is often treated as an additional subject, and boards only replace a subject if you fail in one of the first five.
If you passed all 5 core subjects, then Yoga marks will not be used to improve your percentage officially (unless your board allows it).
Check your board's policy on additional subjects replacing core ones for percentage calculation. Some colleges/universities accept the best 5 marks, including an additional subject (Yoga), so it depends on where you are applying.
If applying for college admission, contact them to see if they allow Yoga to be counted in your percentage.
To improve your PCM percentage, focus on strengthening your weak subject, especially Maths. Practice previous KCET papers and take mock tests regularly to boost your speed and accuracy. Join coaching or online classes for topics you find difficult. Revise concepts daily and solve numerical problems thoroughly. Stay consistent and manage your time well during studies and exams.
You can change your college for your TYBSc Chemistry year, but it depends on your university's rules. Usually, you need to apply for a migration certificate from your current college. The new college must be affiliated with the same university or recognized by it. Permission from both colleges and the university is required. Changing colleges may affect your exam registration and fee payment. Check with your current college and university for exact procedures and deadlines.
Yes Kriya, you can change your college in TYBSc Chemistry but it depends on the rules of your university. Most universities allow migration/transfer, but you will need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current college and approval from the new one. The syllabus of both colleges should also match, otherwise you may face difficulties. Also, it depends on seat availability in the new college. So, it’s better you confirm the procedure with your university and the college where you want to take admission.
First, complete a B.Sc. degree with Chemistry as one of the major subjects.
Check eligibility criteria and application dates of universities offering M.Sc. Chemistry.
Apply online or offline through the university admission portal.
Some colleges require entrance exams or merit-based selection.
Once selected, attend counseling or document verification to confirm admission.
Hello,
Yes, you can choose Economics and Business instead of Physics and Chemistry for BBA admission .
For BBA, the main focus is on business and management, not on Science subjects. Most colleges and entrance exams accept:
English
General Aptitude Test (GAT)
Maths
Economics
Business Studies / Accountancy
You do not need Physics or Chemistry for BBA. Choosing Economics and Business Studies is a good choice and is fully acceptable for BBA courses.
Hope it helps !
