Yes, Definitely one can get Maths in class 12th as there optional subject and be a PCMB student, but one should keep in mind that one should change the subject before the final registration of class 12th. After that it will be difficult to change your subject.

In cbse, The candidate should have passed the class 10th/Secondary School examination conducted by CBSE .
