coaching
Hi aspirant,
Chennai campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is quite newer and less recognised than the other campuses i.e. Bengaluru, Amritapuri and Coimbatore. Most of the the negative reviews you have came across must be regarding the infrastructure facilities and comparatively new faculties but do remember that the institution follows a strict curriculum with regular webinars and hackathons being conducted. Chennai campus is pretty similar to coimbatore campus in exception of infrastructure and facilities . Coming to the placements all the campus placements are same, every campus student will be coming to the coimbatore and they will be giving their interviews. It's basically a very new campus all the lab equipments are not fully equipped, the strength is not more.
So it is totally worth the money as you will get to study in one of the premium universities of India and you will be no short of opportunities due to joint placements at Coimbatore campus. Also not to forget that Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham ranks under top 5 University rankings released by MHRD in the latest NIRF rankings that is not possible without the combined efforts and performance of all the sister campuses.
Hope it helps!!

Hello,
Last year the qualifying cut off percentile for SC category to qualify in NEET UG was 113-146 marks. You have scored just above the previous year cut off marks. With such score you do not have chances to get seat in MBBS, BDS, Ayush courses. You need to score minimum 360-480 marks or above to have decent chances of getting seat in MBBS, BDS, Ayush Courses. We regret to inform you that you may not get seat this year. However, if you wish to take a year off and prepare well you may hold good chances to get seat in a college if you score the above mentioned ideal score for SC category. We would suggest you to take a look on previous year cut off for admission to MBBS and BDS to get an idea. Here is the link to the cut off

Cut off changes every year depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

I hope you are doing well, In BCA if you are asking about the coaching classes of the subjects that are taught in the class then i would recommend not to join any coaching classes because the notes provided in the class are enough to score good marks in the class. But if you want to pursue MCA or MBA or some other Post Graduate Degree then you should definitely go for coaching as you mentioned you are in the 1st year you would be having enough time to prepare for NIMCET or respective exams for the PG degree. I would recommend you to prepare for NIMCET. It would help you get into NIT's or some other reputed colleges.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck.

Firstly, you should think that every year there is a good number of student who crack the examination from Tamil Nadu. SO you mustn't be very tensed about it just you need to strategise the study plan by yourself.
Now for most board the curriculum is mostly the same. So the things you will learn in the NEET preparation will help you in your boards as well and the things you will learn for boards will help you in the NEET preparation as well. See this are complementary to each other. Now I can understand your confusion that for NEET you have to follow the NCERT and for boards you have to follow some books else. But think if you want to learn the mechanism of heart, then will the function be described in two books be different?. As you can know, the knowledge is definite but there are changes in language but the concept is the same. Now a possible strategy for you can be, read the topics from the NCERT and just revise them from your state board books. This will help you to get the information which are not in NCERT but in your board books and the vice versa. This may sound a bit lengthy but if you start implementing it, then you will find it very beneficial.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
See the reservation status may change from state to state. In westbengal, there reservation for TFW is 5% of the total seats in the college i.e., if there are 100 seats in a course of a designate college then only 5 seats are available at maximum for TFW. Now to know a more specific answer you need to mention the name of your state as per which the reservation criteria can be mentioned. You can also visit the college in which you wish to take admission and just check the seat matrix there also it can be mentioned.
