Im BA 2nd year student. I want to take admission in JNU for MA economy how I can prepare yourself without coaching

Subhrajit Mukherjee 27th Mar, 2021

See there are no hard and fast rule that with coaching you can crack JNU and without it you can't. So don't keep this in your mind and focus on the subjects.

Now for MA Economy you should prepare according to the syllabus and prefer the most efficient books from where you can clear your doubts and can strengthen your concepts. You should solve the previous year papers and give as a test so that the efficiency in a stipulated can be maintained and check it yourself. This will work as Mock tests which will ensure your accuracy in exam time as well as boost your confidence.

Some of the books that Might help:

  • Microeconomic Theory by Hal Varian
  • Intermediate Microeconomics,7e by Rubinfield and Pindyk
  • Microeconomics Macroeconomic Theory by Dornbusch and Fisher
  • Macroeconomics,6e by Mankiw
  • Macroeconomics,6e Mathematics by RGD Allen
  • Mathematical Analysis for Economics by AC Chiang

Wanted to get admission in IIM Indore for the integrated course. I havent gone for any coaching. So is it possible to crack IPMAT in 2weeks?

anirudha vats 26th Mar, 2021

Hey,

IIM Indore conducts five year integrated program for admission into its undergraduate plis management program.

The syllabus for the exam is very basic. It comprises of three sections,

-ENGLISH

-REASONING

-MATHEMATICS.

Two sections might be clear for you to crack if you have prepared well in your class 12th.

You just need to focus more on your reasoning section. In this two weeks I will suggest you to focus on that section.

Practice last year question papers and give mocks as much as possible.

If you truly believe in yourself you can do it. Miracles do happen but you need to trust yourself with the hard work.

All the best.

Thank you

*First of all go through each chapter and while studying the chapter, your major focus should be on understanding the concepts . Major focus should be on ncert ,as around 90 % questions in neet are from ncert concepts, and as you have less time, focus and stress more on  important and scoring topics or chapters which are listed below subject wise along with their chapter wise weight age based on past year neet papers

To help you plan your studies ,you can get the chapter wise weightage of all the chapters at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-chapter-wise-weightage-and-important-topics

*Practice questions:- after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs .You should practise at least 80 to100 numericals and mcqs in Each chapter to master concepts so that you can solve numericals and MCQs easily.

* Short breaks :- take short breaks in between your studies, studying continuously can be brain tiring and it becomes difficult to focus and study with concentration, so take breaks to relax and refresh your brain.

* Set  goals :- set daily goals like I have to cover these many topics today, weekly goals like I have to  cover these chapters this week and  solve their mcqs too by the end of this week and meet them without any fail.

* Follow a routine or timetable :- you can make a routine and religiously follow it and try to give at least 7- 8 hours to study each day in your routine.

-)PHYSICS is the  toughest part for most of the medical aspirants  as it has both numericals and concepts to deal with ,so keep at least 3 hours each day for physics

-)In Chemistry you have to deal with reactions and learn them and solve questions as well, so give at least 2.5 hours to Chemistry

-)In biology you have to read, learn and revise again and again, so keep around 2.5 hours for Biology.

*Revise:-  revise your concepts,  formulas etc at regular intervals . Revision is very important otherwise as you won't be able to recall or remember whatever you have learnt and forget them and you  won't be able to perform well in your examination.

*Solve previous year NEET question  :- Solving previous year questions will let you know the examination pattern, type of questions asked in the exam and difficulty level of questions, also concepts  of the questions often gets repeated so it will be of great help to you . You can get previous year neet papers at

is doing coaching (upsc) and regular college parallely (in du) possible ??

pdwords Student Expert 24th Mar, 2021
Hello,

Coaching and regular college studies can be tough to maintain, but that's also dependent as in you're taking coaching specifically for general studies or optional or both, also make sure you enroll yourself in a good coaching institute which have experienced faculty as they will be able to guide you better, Delhi has the best coaching classes for UPSC but it's fee too is very high, it's always better you find out detailed information before enrolling yourself, many of the candidates have qualified this exam with self-efforts also, and today with Internet everything is accessible and due to pandemic the digital learning has taken precedence, hence many of the reputed coaching centre are also providing online classes which you may consider if you're interested, but as I told you earlier go through the syllabus, question paper and try to understand the demand of the exam, this will give you a clear idea about how to proceed ahead.

ayanmukherjee045 11th Feb, 2021

Dear aspirant,

Don't judge yourself on the basis of percentage of 12th std as the level of the exams and also the way to give both these exams are totally different . You need a different mindset for jee as compared to class 12th.

Considering you have joined kota, i would say it is tough to score a good rank in iit jee within 3 months but if you follow proper plan and strategy you can definitely achieve it.
