I saw all review but i noticed that all who were happy was the students from commerce (b.com M.com) But i noticed none of the students from science stream were happy with job opportunities!! Is it worth for science stream students?

Rubina Naseer 4th May, 2025

Your observation is true and depicts an actual concern. Most students of science background who change over to general courses like B.Com or M.Com might feel the curriculum mismatched to their initial interest and professional goals, particularly if they are in search of technical or research jobs.

Is it worth it for science stream students?

It depends on your goals:

If science-related fields interest you (science, medicine, research, information technology, etc.), B.Com/M.Com may not have value or offer practical skills/appointments.
If you are converting to business, finance, accounting, etc., then business/ commerce degrees could be adapted very well—eventually for students of even sciences—if complimented by career direction (CA, MBA, analytics, etc.).
Career prospects for B.Com/M.Com are usually in banking, accounts, and clerical posts—less technical and less fitting for someone with a science-strong background unless you reskill.

Alternatives for science students:

BSc/BCA/Integrated MSc if continuing in science or tech
Professional courses such as nursing, physiotherapy, B.Pharm, or paramedical sciences
Vocational/skill-based courses with improved job matching (e.g., data science, cybersecurity, web development)
