Common Law Admission Test
Hello dear student,
Please don't be scared . I don't think so dropping 12th is a good decision. So I would suggest you to give exams with whatsoever your preparations. I would suggest you to go through 70% syllabus Atleast so that you can get good marks in boards. But dropping is not a good option. Try and try you still have time in your hands don't let that go . I hope you understand and I hope this was helpful for you.
Thank you
Hii,
Being a science student you have an advantage in the quants section but will have to workout and makeup for the others. For verbal you can read normal Lewis's Word power made easy. For legal aptitude there is A.P bhadwaj's book.
Overall you can prepare for a 3months and still get a decent score to get one of the Top Law colleges.
For cracking the quantitative aptitude section of clat you basically need to do all the mathematics topics you have studied till class 10th. It is very basic tricks play a major role there.
You'll have to appear for a lot of mocks too, this'll help you build a speed and boost your confidence. You can appear for mocks and then ascertain if you need a coaching or not. The best coaching institute for clat is Career launcher.

Hello Abhishek
It Generally takes 180-190 days of proper hard work for CLAT preparation. I am writing down few points, you can have a look:
For current affairs: You should prepare from Study IQ Current Affairs pdf(PSC IQ Magazine). The daily current affair and the weekly affair will be of more help. Editorial analyses of Hindu and Indian express will also be required.
For Static: You can always refer to the Internet for help.
ENGLISH-
For vocabulary, you can start by reading the newspaper. It will help you improve your basic English skills. Start learning 5-10 words regularly and do it on regular basis. Some good PDFs will also help you in vocabulary and general grammar. You should develop the habit of reading comprehensions.
LOGICAL AND ANALYTICAL REASONING -
Get hold of previous year question papers or browse through Study IQ for practice papers. Start solving them on regular basis. Practice will make you perfect.
MATHS -
I would suggest you to solve test papers from Study IQ or IASGURU. These are two reliable websites and best for preparation at home.
LEGAL APTITUDE -
Apart from reading from the study materials, watch YouTube videos for understanding the topics visually. It will help you remember the topics. And one more thing Practice, Practice, Practice.
Many do start coaching during there class 12 studies only but it is actually all dependent on your capacity and caliber. If you can handle the class 12th syllabus as well the coaching for clat, then go for it otherwise take a year gap after 12th and then do it
