Hello Ayushi,
The CLAT exam is only for the candidates who wish to pursue undergraduate or 5 year integrated LLB course. If you want LLB, you have to answer CLAT, as your admission process is based upon the merit in this entrance exam. For more information about the DU LLB exam, you can refer https://law.careers360.com/articles/du-llb-eligibility-criteria
CLAT will have comprehensive based questions on Quantitative Techniques, English Current affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical reasoning. The descriptive syllabus might remain the same but the pattern has been changed. https://clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in/syllabus.html still quotes Legal Aptitude as one of the sections in the exam. You may be tested on your proficiency in reading texts and inferential reasoning. These in a way have legal aptitude connection. The CLAT 2020 notification will be released in the last week of December and by then we should have a clear idea.
hi,
see I would suggest you to apply for as many exams, there is many reputed institute accept clat score, like, NLSIU, NLIU, NALSAR, HNLU ETC however bhu uet llb entrance test is for banaras hindu university, which it self is a reputed institutions., you never know you may definitely crack any one exam or get a really good score, so it better to apply for multiple exam, and your chances to get a good institute gets higher.
The general instructions for filling out the form are entering the details of the year of the examinations, marks obtained and necessary documentation related to your academic record.
If you are filling a form after the completion of your graduation and wish to pursue further masters degree programs, you would be choosing the post-graduation.
However, there are bachelor courses which you can only do after graduation for example: Bachelors in Education. There are also people who opt for double graduation, so in such cases you in UG.
As you are a law aspirant, after completion of BSC. L.L.B course, students can do L.L.M, masters in Law. In such cases, the candidate will select PG.
For L.L.B, the candidates from any discipline who have attained at least 40% in the qualifying examination are eligible. So it will be UG.
If you have any specific details and wish to ask for a specific case, you can contact Careers360 further.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Hi there,
MH CET and CLAT syllabus is almost the same but there is a difference in the level of questions, the sections in both exam is sam like Maths, Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, Logical and analytical Reasoning, Gk and current Affairs, English. But now the consortium of NLU has changed the pattern of CLAT exams, now instead of 200 questions there will be around 120-150 questions and the questions will be comprehension based in English, Maths, Deductive reasoning etc. So to answer your question, yes the topics in both the exams is somewhat similar but for CLAT you will need to prepare more and be through with your preparation. You can prepare simultaneously for both and that being said if you prepare for CLAT throughly then you will need no extra preparation as such for MHCET. I have attached a link to the syllabus of MHCET here, https://law.careers360.com/articles/mh-cet-law-syllabus
and for CLAT the change in exam pattern here, https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-exam-pattern
