Common Law Admission Test
Hello,
The clat 2020 registration is expected to commence in the first week of January, 2020. The last date shall be last week of March, 2020. The admit card will be released in the third week of April and the examination will be in the second week of May, 2020. All the best!
Hey.
Many people start pursuing courses like BA or any other Undegraduate course instead of dropping for preparation of CLAT. So if you clear CLAT this year then you can drop out of your BA college and take admission in the National Law university in the 5 year integrated course from 1st year. There will be no issue or problem in admission if you have already joined any undergraduate course. So you can prepare for CLAT side by side.
Best of luck
Hello there hope you are doing well. Here I am listing few points that you must keep in mind while preparing yourself for CLAT
Depth Study
Remember one thing that just study, study and keep studying will make your success in CLAT. No mean, how reputed coaching was there in your preparation time or how expensive books you had brought if you did not study hard & long with depth concentration.
Reading Current Affairs
Reading in any way is the best habit for those are preparing for any examination. Knowledge of current affairs indicates that how you are eager to know about your country and world and your interest in society. Read the newspaper magazines and social articles from the day first and attempt to update yourself with current general knowledge in political, social and cultural scenario.
Joining Coaching
You will have to decide either you will prepare for the examination by self-study or you will go to seek the admission in any coaching centre providing the career course for CLAT. Self-study is compulsory any ways but such reputed coaching institutions can be very supportive for preparation due to the guidance through experienced faculty which will provide the knowledge for several years.
Feel free to ask me in the comment box if you are having any further doubts
hope you find it helpful

Hello Akansha.
At this stage I think you should keep your maximum focus on your studies of board exam. In addition to this you can keep your special focus on English for this you can have books of wren and Martin . You should strengthen your vocabulary.
Ok good luck

Yes, ofcourse you should give CLAT entrance exam for Admission.when you are going to take an LLB course, CLAT is a mandatory thing for you.
And the University like NLU one of the top universities doesn't cooperate admissions without CLAT.

Hi,
You almost have two years for the preparation of CLAT exam and this much time is more than enough to qualify the exam.
Firstly, I'm giving you the overview of the exam pattern. CLAT is an offline test for admissions to undergraduate law programmes including BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB and BSc LLB in 21 National Law Universities (NLUs). The exam is conducted in offline mode and there are total 200 questions of one mark each. Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam. One mark would be awarded for every correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect attempt.
As per the CLAT syllabus, questions in the exam are asked from the following sections- English and comprehension Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) General Knowledge and Current Affairs Logical Reasoning Legal Aptitude
Coming to the preparation part, you will have to make a proper study-plan. Since you are in class 11th, you should strategize it in a way that you can complete the entire CLAT syllabus in six months and devote the rest of the time in revising the concepts and applying the facts along with your regular academic classes. In class 12th, you will have to focus on your class 12th board examination also.
You can break down the entire preparation in three parts: Conceptualisation, Application and Test.
Focus on clearing the basic concepts first then apply the concepts for solving problems and then practice tests to analyze your preparation.
For the books, I would suggest that you can refer to the 2019 edition books. For the General Knowledge I would say, it is a vast subject. You just can't cover everything and complete it. You should keep yourself updated with the current affairs of past one year while learning the static portions.
For GK, you will have to refer to the 2020 edition books also. You will have to revise the GK notes regularly during your two-year CLAT preparation.
Hope this helps. Do let us know if you have any other queries.
It is always neccesaary to learn from the right books in order to clear an examination. Same is the case in caae of CLAT. Mentioned below are some of the books that will help you with the examination

the dates are tentative. It will change as per the schedule. There are many boards in India all have different dates to conduct the board exams. So not to worry about it. You will get your results before the clat application starts. If not the Clat conducting authority will give notice regarding it. don't worry for those stuff. Just prepare for it. Rest will be handled accordingly.
Hope it helps!
