Hello applicant,
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised test for admission to 21 National Law Universities in India . 43 other education institutes and two public sector institutes are also eligible to use these scores. The test is conducted by the 21 participating law schools in rotation, in the order of their establishment, starting with National Law School of India University which conducted CLAT-2008, And now up to National Law University Odisha conducted CLAT 2019.
Fee for Clat exam is 4000 rupees.
Hope it helps.
Hello aspirant,
The National Law University requires you to pass you 10+2 with more than 50% marks. Since you have 52% , you are completely eligible for NLU. You can study there if you clear the entrance exam(AILET) and secure a seat. All the best!
Hey.
Firstly, admission in National Law University, delhi is done through AILET and not CLAT. Admission in all other NLUs except NLU Delhi is done through CLAT. The eligibilty criteria for both is the same that you firstly need to pass in your class 12th board exams from a recognised board. You also need to score a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in 12th boards to be eligible. Considering this you seem to be eligible for both CLAT and AILET.
Best of luck.
Hey Prashansa.
I'd suggest you to join any other college that you have as a back up or any other options that you have. If you have any other Private or other law college in mind then you can join it. Or even if there is any other college for other graduation course like BA/BCOM/BBA/BSC etc. You can prepare for CLAT simultaneously in your first year and attempt it. This would be better than taking a second drop. In this way if you crack CLAT you can join the NLUs and in case you don't you will have a back up option to continue without wasting any year. If you join a graduation course you can complete it and then go for 3 year law course in top colleges like DU, GLC Mumbai, ILS Pune etc.
Otherwise if you want to give another try to CLAT you should, but with joining a college would act as a good backup for you. Many people do that. Along with CLAT you can fill other entrances too with good law colleges.
Best of luck
RS Agarwal for Maths is considered one of the best books for Maths for preparation of CLAT. It provides you with apmle questions for practice.
M. Tyra's Maths book is also a good alternative. Besides you can use 30 days Maths Wonder for quick review. It covers question from lowest difficulty level to the difficulty level higher than RS Agarwal.
You may know that your CLAT score and rank is low and it bit difficult to get IP law college but you may have some chance so you may apply for that but I also suggested that you may also apply or seek some another college also as you backup plan because of getting BBA LLB is difficult for you.
ALL the best.
