competitive exam
Hello,
Every competitive examination has different eligibility criteria. SO we cannot say if you will be eligible to appear for a certain competitive examination without knowing the exam name. But you can check the eligibility criteria of a particular competitive exam in the official notification that will be published regarding the entrance examination. If you fulfill the eligibility criteria you can apply for it. 72.6% is a decent score but still you need to check the given eligibility criteria that a candidate must fulfill.
hi,
see cutoff score changes every year and it varies with number of applicants for any particular session, difficulty level of test papers, students category, seat intake and so on. generally Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of applicants who appear for the examination. however based on your percentile it is difficult to predict the exact score on each of the subjects including mathematics. at this percentile you have moderate chances for nits.

Good Luck
You didn't mentioned your stream for intermediate. If you are in science then you can apply for KVPY examination in 11th. Rather than this you can also apply for Olympiads like Pre-RMO etc.
If you are from any other stream then you should come back to career360.com (//career360.com) with proper specifics so that we can help you out.
I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Hello student ,
First of all there is no need to worry and the point that you have to remember is that you can't leave any subject weak. You have to study all the 3 subjects .And as you said that your physics is weak then try to give some extra hours in solving numericals . For more than 550,you have to score more than 300 out of 360 in biology . And for physics instead of just memorizing the formulas, understand how that formula came, means understand the derivation. Understand the steps and variations in different questions . Beside this if you have joined a coaching class then take all the tests regularly and don't miss the tests . And important thing keep solving mcq and previous year question papers .
Hope it helps !

yes of course you are eligible to appear in competitive exam. right now if you are in b.tech course of four years duration it would earn you a certificate of professional course as well as a graduate degree. after completing b.tech if you wish to change path from professional to others professional like banker, ias officer or any other post, you may appear in upsc, bank p.o exam, ssc exams as well.
hope you may understand.
First of all you should pursue CAT only if you're interested in management studies and want to have a career in this field, the scope of opportunities in case of MBA is more with corporate sector or private sector to be more specific, though there are also opportunities in banking sectors pertaining to various posts, but other than this in general you only need graduation in any discipline from a recognized university if you want to appear for any government exams, of course there are also domain specific jobs, as you come from engineering background, you can appear for your domain in exams conducted by UPSC IES, SSC JE, RRB JE etc, the choice between banking or ssc cgl is more dependent on you, the level of banking exam is comparatively higher than ssc cgl, both the exams are equally popular, and in the recent times many engineering graduates too are appearing for the same and qualifying as well, you can appear for both, and banking exams will also be not tough for you, as you're an engineering student, evidently your quant and reasoning will be strong which is strong factor in qualifying exams, for ssc cgl also other than these subjects you're required to know about english, general awareness, and there are also skill tests conducted unlike in case of banking jobs, ssc cgl is conducted in four phases while banking exams are conducted in three phases only, hence you should choose as per your interest for specific job profile.
Preparation for any government exam is more dependent on your areas of interest especially pertaining to job profiles, and to a some extent the syllabus also matters, for instance if by RRB you meant Railway Recruitment Board then it does recruit on the basis of btech degree for JE post, other than this there are also posts based on the eligibility of graduation in any stream from a recognized university which is common posts in the sense any graduate can apply, however if you meant IBPS RRB then it does recruitment of office assistant and officers, it's pattern and syllabus is like any banking exam, speed and precision is very important in qualifying banking exam, also the level of banking exams are comparatively higher than that of SSC CGL, both the exams offer good posts as you must be aware that competition has changed drastically and it has increased a lot in the recent times, also the fact that many engineering graduates are qualifying both banking exams as well SSC CGL and also UPSC or state civil service exams, so you can take this as an example that you're also capable of qualifying the same, but then you have to analyze which job profile you find interesting, in ssc cgl there are field jobs as well as desk jobs, while in banking it's got more to do with dealing people, their queries, and taking care of other things as per instructions provided by higher authority.
