MHT cet PCM 2025 I got 88%ile so in which college I will get in pune for computer science

hemanth kumar 16th Jun, 2025

Your score in MHT CET PCM is 88 percentile, and as such, you may not be able to secure Computer Science in the best government colleges in Pune as they would be expected to take at least a 90 percentile.

But still better private colleges in Pune will have your score with seat of Computer Science like MIT Pune, Vishwakarma Institute or Sinhgad Institutes where cutoffs may be lower.

Prachi Kumari 21st Jun, 2025

Hello,

Based on your scores — 92 percentile in MHT CET (PCM) and 83.33 percentile in JEE Main — you can get some good colleges in Maharashtra for BTech in Computer Science Engineering . Here are some options you can consider:

Through MHT CET (92 percentile):

You have a better chance with MHT CET score. Some good colleges you can try for:

  • Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT), Pune

  • Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), Pune

  • MIT-WPU (School of Engineering), Pune

  • Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli

  • Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), Nagpur

  • Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad

  • KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai (May be tough, but try)

  • SPIT Mumbai (Sardar Patel Institute of Technology) (Low chance, but still fill for counselling)

Through JEE Main (83.33 percentile):

Your JEE score is a bit low for top NITs. But still, you can try:

  • IIIT Nagpur (May be borderline, depends on category and home state)

  • Some private universities in Maharashtra or nearby states that accept JEE scores.

Hope it helps !

Nikita shahi 9th Aug, 2025

Hello!

With 86% in MHT CET PCM, you stand a strong chance to get into several good engineering colleges in Maharashtra for Computer Science (CS) and related courses like IT, AI & DS, Cybersecurity, etc. Some top options could be COEP Technological University, VJTI Mumbai, Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, and Government College of Engineering, Pune. You can also look into PICT Pune and Walchand College of Engineering.

During CAP (Centralised Admission Process) rounds, focus on filling as many preference options as possible, starting from the top colleges to the lower ones, so you maximize your chances. Also, if your percentile is high enough, you can even get autonomous or university-affiliated top-tier private colleges with good placements. BSC COMPUTER SCIENCE 1st year fees kitni hai?

OISHEE BANERJEE 16th Jun, 2025

Hey! So for the first year of BSc Computer Science, the fees really depend on what kind of college you’re applying to. If it’s a government college, the fees are usually pretty low—somewhere around ten thousand to maybe fifty thousand per year. It’s super affordable and a great option if you’re looking to save on costs.

Now if you're going for a state university or semi-government college, the fees can go a bit higher, like maybe around twenty to seventy thousand per year. These colleges are usually a nice balance between cost and quality.

But if it’s a private college, then the fees are definitely higher. It could be around fifty thousand to even one and a half lakh a year, depending on how popular or established the college is. Some big-name private colleges might even go a little beyond that.

I got 77100 rank in kcet can I get seat in computer science engineering and I belong to St category

gopi 15th Jun, 2025

Hello Maruthi,

Yes, you have a decent possibility of securing a seat in Computer Science Engineering with a KCET rank of 77,100 under the ST category in some government or private colleges in Karnataka - especially the rural and newer institutions. This is under the assumption that you would likely not get into the top tier of colleges with such a rank. Using the KCET option entry portal and practicing mock allotments will allow you to be more strategic. KCET College Predictor 2025

Can sc candidate get chance with 26588 sc rank in iiit kalyani home state in cyber security computer science 2025

hemanth kumar 15th Jun, 2025

The mark of 189 in NEET is a score that one could hardly have qualified to have a seat in any government medical college in Bengaluru Karnataka. The Bangalore Medical college and research institute is one of the top government colleges and its cut offs have traditionally been far higher, and most times, they end up being above 600 marks.
