Your chances of getting Computer Science in NIT Trichy was very slim with 966 rank in SC and CSE is one of the most sought after branches. Closing ranks in last few years for SC category in CSE in NIT Trichy have often been usually less than 500. However, cutoffs vary a bit every year depending on competition, seat matrix and quota (home state versus other state). You may look at other NITs or consider other branches in NIT Trichy.
