I have been selected for mtech in NIT manipur vlsi and csir pilani advanced electronics engineering. Which college is better regarding placements and overall

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 21st Aug, 2020

hi,

see the both of the stream is quite different, vlsi and microelectronics is more core related course while advance electronics is consists of vast topics and implementation of modern electronics , vlsi, embedded systems etc. now coming to the course curriculum nit manipur and csir both of the institute has excellent academic curriculum. also csir has interactive class room program, excellent lab facility which is much better than any nits. now coming to placement cell csir has no particular placement cell, this institute is most appropriate for those who want to do further studies and want to work in research and development cell. however in nits manipur placement is good for IT and electronics engineering.

so if study is your main concern than you should go for csir, however if you are more inclined towards job then you may go for nits.
