On such CRL rank you have good chances to get various NITs or IIITs or GFTIs for CSE branch. You can get an idea from previous year's closing ranks available on the official website :-

https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx

If we go through previous year's data of seat allotment On the basis of data mentioned in the question by you, you can go for the enlisted colleges :-

Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar - Computer Science Engineering

National Institute of Technology Bhopal - Computer Science Engineering

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad - Electronics and Communication Engineering

National Institute of Technology Calicut - Electronics and Communication Engineering

Hello,

Honestly in 91 percentile it is really difficult to get cse branch in these colleges which you have mentioned so i would suggest you to kindly keep other private colleges as a backup .

As you haven't mentioned your category let me tell you that I am considering you as general category. But if you belong to sc/st category then it is quite possible for you to get cse branch in these colleges.

If you want to check the colleges you can get , you can check out the link given below -

I got 45979 SC rank in jee mains after getting 139 Marks in 24 june Shift 1 session, what will be my percentile, is there any chance of getting CSE, IT branch DTU main campus?

Sevit Kar 8th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Yes , there are fair chances if you secured 45k all india rank in jee mains. You will easily clear the cut off and achieve the branch what you want.

Certain conditions govern cut offs such as choices filled by the candidates, number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

I HAVE SECURED 90.51 PERCENTILE IN JEE MAINS (CRL RANK 85000 ,OBC RANK 24000 ) CAN I GET ADDMISSION IN CS, CSE, CSDS, CSAI, IT, SE IN DTU OR NSUT WITH HOME STATE QUOTA??

Sharon Rose Student Expert 8th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Admission in DTU and NSUT is done through JAC counselling. The admission is based on All India Rank secured in JEE Main. Considering the previous year cut off in JAC ROUND 4 counselling you have chances to get seat in NSUT in CSDA the cut off was 107997 (AIR) for OBC candidate (Delhi). You do not have chances to get seat in the other preferred course due to low cut off. Also here is the list of courses in which you have chances to get seat other than preferred course

NSUT

  • EIOT
  • EEE
  • ECE
  • ICE
  • ME

DTU

  • ECE
  • EE
  • Mechanical
  • Civil

Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

if JEE mains percentile is 87.643 then what is the chances to get admission in NIT or IIIT or DTU or NSIT or NSUT in general catagery

Piyush kesarwani 7th Aug, 2022

hello aspirant,

With the above mentioned percentile in GENERAL Category in JEE mains, your overall predicted rank will be around 126852 - 142600 . Now looking at the previous year JEE mains Cutoff, you have very difficult chances of getting any NIT or IIIT as the minimum required cutoff for general category students to get good NIT's is around 97-99 percentile.

You also have difficult chances of getting admission in DTU or NSUT as the previous year Cutoff for these colleges is around 95+ percentile.

So, what I may suggest you that you can take admission in most of the private colleges that take admission on the basis of the JEE mains score.

To know more about the JEE mains Cutoff, you can follow the below mentioned link : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

To know about your chances of admissions in other colleges, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp

I hope that this will help.

I have doubt, I have completed 12th in 2022,I have taken Hindi Core instead of computer science as a subject in 12th so can I will be eligible for admission in JAC delhi colleges (DTU,NSUT,IGDTUW) in 2023?

Sayan 7th Aug, 2022

Hello,

The Joint Admission Counselling Delhi, usually referred to as JAC Delhi, is the most popular admission counselling process used to determine admission to the top government universities financed by the Delhi Government for B. Tech, B. Arch, and other programmes.

All JAC Delhi 2022 member institutes follow a set of admission standards/procedures while admitting applicants. However, there are three JAC Delhi 2022 entry requirements:

  • Based on their performance in JEE Main 2022 - Paper 1, candidates who seek to enrol in B.Tech courses at institutions like NSUT, DTU, and IGDTUW would be eligible to do so.
  • Additionally, students will be chosen for admission to the IGDTUW B.Arch programme depending on how well they score on JEE Main 2022 Paper 2.
  • Additionally, candidates' percentile scores in JEE Main 2022 Paper 1 as well as bonus points for accomplishments in Olympiads, sports, culture, innovation, and other areas will be taken into account while determining admission to IIIT-D.

As per your query,

Yes, you are eligibile for admission in JAC Delhi Colleges because the eligibility criteria of possess a passing certificate from the CBSE-administered 10+2 exam or an equivalent examination is completed by you.

Thank You

My jee EWS rank is 7000 and CRL is around 57k can i get CSE IN dtu?

Sevit Kar 7th Aug, 2022

Hello,

No , you cannot get cse in DTU in this rank even if i consider your EWS rank because the cut offs are higher. Even if i consider you as EWS category it is not possible for you to get any branch in DTU.

Maybe you can get lower branches like Biotechnology but I don't think you would consider so i would request you to look for other colleges .
