My son has got 98.99 percentile in jee mains 2024. He is doing 12th from delhi and has obc ncl from patna. Can he get both home state and obc ncl benifet in DTU?

Tanya Gupta 17th Mar, 2024

Hello,

Your sons JEE Main percentile of 98.99 is impressive. Whether he can avail both home state and OBC-NCL benefits at DTU depends on the university's specific admission policies. It is always best to refer to DTUs official admission information for clarification.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

In jee mains 1st attempt I have scored 99.4 percentile but my boards didnt go well and Overall total 5 subjects percentage are 75.5% but PCM together aggregate is just 58% will I get admission in DTU?

Satvik 5th Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

JEE Mains percentile: 99.4 percentile is exceptional and would definitely put you in contention for DTU.

Board marks: Your overall percentage is 75.5%, which clears the 75% requirement. However, your PCM aggregate is 58%, which is below the 60% threshold for DTU.

This lower PCM score may make you ineligible for DTU since they require a minimum of 60% in PCM.

But you can consider other state counselling and colleges like GFTI's.

You can also consider giving improvement exams to boost your PCM percentage, if that’s feasible.

Best wishes.

seat for 55 percentile are present

Shivanshu 21st Feb, 2024

Dear aspirant !

At this percentile you can get only the private colleges seat where you will pay a lot of fees . Better to work hard and get into top government colleges. The qualifying cutoff to be eligible for counselling for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is likely to be much higher than the 55 percentile and that for JEE Advanced eligibility will be much higher. Hence, the 55 percentile is not a good percentile . For SC/ST candidates as well, the 55 percentile is not good.

is 104 a good score in jee 2024 mains ?my percentile? NIT,DTU(Branch)?

Lalbee 12th Feb, 2024

Hello Aspirant,

Your category (OBC) rank in JEE mains will be between 18K and 20K with the marks indicated above. Your Common Rank List (CRL) with the aforementioned JEE Mains scores will be between 68,520 to 76,020.

Although your prospects of being admitted to NITs are slim given your above-average anticipated OBC category rank, you will still be eligible for the JEE Advanced.
