Applicants must have completed their B.Ed with a minimum grade point average of 50 to 55 percent.
Candidates from the reserved category will be given a 5% reduction in the maximum qualifying marks required for admission.
The reserved category includes candidates from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer)/Disabled, who will be functional according to the rules of the Central or State government.
Some top colleges, such as IGNOU, require candidates to have two years of teaching or professional experience after completing a B.Ed in a Government/Government recognised school/NCTE recognised teacher education/education research institution.
