Hi

To become a doctor you need to do  MBBS ( in case,if you want to become a dentist then you need to do BDS, BHMS to become a homeopathic doctor, BAMS  to become Ayurvedic doctor ,BVSc to become a veterinarian ). Admission in all the medical colleges for Mbbs/ bds / bams etc is through NEET examination

Yes, you can get admission in 2025 in medical colleges  for mbbs etc,  as with your date of birth, you will become 17 years old on 2/7/2025 i. e before 31st December 2025 and thus eligible for neet 2025

Here's how you can become a doctor:-

------------------------) First of all pass your 10th exam

------------------------)  then, you need to choose science stream BIOLOGY group i.e you should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English for your 10+2.

------------------------) Along with your 10+2 keep preparing for Neet examination. You become eligible for neet in the year of appearing for 12th board examination.

Also needs to be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year of examination. To be on the safer side, out of 720 marks, target at least around 580 -600 marks for state quota mbbs seats and 650 marks in neet for All india quota mbbs seats if you belong to general category.

------------------------) Participate in neet counselling. There are 2 counsellings -

  • Mcc counselling :- It is conducted for 15% AIQ seats, 100% Deemed Universities seats, Central Universities  seats (Delhi University, AMU & BHU ), 100% ESIC seats , AFMC  seats (only Registration Part) & I.P University (VMMC & SJH AND ABVIMS & RML & ESIC Dental, Delhi ,100% AIIMS seats & 100% JIPMER seats

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-seat-allotment

------------------------) In the counselling, you can get a seat in a college on the basis of your rank in NEET examination and the category you belong to .

------------------------) Then you have to report to the college and get your documents verified.

------------------------) After document verification, finally you get admission in mbbs in college

------------------------) Pursue your mbbs which is a 5.5 year long course in which the last 1 year consists of internship and after the completion of mbbs you become a doctor and can practice.

what is the maximum working hours of resident surgeon and a doctor who has completed Ms and what about holiday and day off

Shivanshu 27th Jan, 2022

Dear aspirant !

Hope you are doing great ! In general if we talk about the holidays and working hours of a surgeon then i want to clear you that ,a surgeon has long shifts may be from 12 to 25 hours or may be some long. Due to their shift hours ,their average working days is 4 in a particular week ,but depending on condition , patient ,crisis ,it may less or more ,nothing can be said accurately . But being a doctor ,we should not focus on holidays ,as a doctor to save a patient should be out first and last duty . Surgeon has many lives in their hand ,so they ought to do their work honestly without looking at working hours.  It is my personal opinion. Rest depend on you

Hello Aspirant ,

No , they don't get a car they only get some commission from the drug for the endorsement of their drug which might even be in lakhs for good and renowned doctors .They might also get some gifts sometimes  but not a car.

Most doctors try to stay away from promotion of drugs and prescribe genuine and good medicines only to the patients.

how do doctor make money illegla

Ayush Maurya 20th Jan, 2022

Hello there

As you must be knowing because you are asking this question that in all the fields there are some persons who illegally do their duties just in the sake of some amount of money.

Talking specifically about doctors then there are many in the world who are paid by the medical mafia. They do illegal activities by like by prescribing the patients unnecessary tests to any specific centre to which they will be having connection and asking for donations for the patients they sent to that specific Centre for that particular test. And also some will prefer the medicines of that company or organisation which of they would be having connections.

I hope it helps you!

Thank you!

If you pursue your career as IAS after MBBS, what advantages will you get with the mbbs degree as an IAS? Will you still be still be able to work as a doctor or your main job will be IAS and you will just use your doctors degree for charity?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 20th Jan, 2022

See many MBBS professionals are working as IAS officers. The main advantage in this are as an IAS you will be more sensitive to the Hospital Facilties, you will be able to judge about the disputes that may occur in Hospital structures more than any other field graduates. Also as you are a doctor and as you have a lot of interactions with the patients, so your people skills will be better and will have kindness in it, which comes inbuild a quality. So this are some of the advantages which you will get.  Also when you are posted to as a Secretary then you will have better chances to go for the Health Departments.

And yeah! If you are a registered doctor and if you want to work as a Doctor for Charity then you can obviously do that without any doubt.
