can i still register for on demand exam for pcb and english before NEET 2025 and if yes how?

kumardurgesh1802 15th Jan, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, you can still register for the On-Demand Exam for PCB and English under the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) if you meet the eligibility criteria and if the registration is open.

Steps to Register for NIOS On-Demand Exam (for PCB and English):

  1. Eligibility : Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria, which generally require you to have completed your 10th exams from a recognized board.

  2. Visit the Official NIOS Website : Go to the official NIOS website ( www.nios.ac.in (https://www.nios.ac.in) ).

  3. Create a Profile : If you haven't already, create a profile on the NIOS portal to register for the exams.

  4. Apply for On-Demand Exam :

    • Look for the On-Demand Examination section under the "Examination" tab.

    • You may be asked to select subjects (in your case, PCB and English ).

    • Complete the application process by filling in the required details and uploading necessary documents.

  5. Payment of Fees : Pay the registration fees as mentioned on the website.

  6. Exam Schedule : The On-Demand Exam is held throughout the year, but you need to confirm the dates available before NEET 2025. You can give exams based on availability and your readiness.

    Important Notes:

  • The On-Demand Exam option allows students to appear for exams as per their availability rather than waiting for a regular session.

  • Ensure that your marksheet and certificate from NIOS are valid and meet NEET eligibility criteria for age and subjects.

  • If you're not able to register for the exam in time, you can also check with NIOS for any alternative solutions.

It is advisable to check the NIOS portal frequently for updates on deadlines and availability of exam slots.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

I am a IBDP student studying in India. I have biology chemistry maths and English as my subjects. Am I eligible for NEET with these subjects.? If no then what I need to do?

kumardurgesh1802 11th Jan, 2025

Hello there,

As an IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) student in India , here’s what you need to know regarding NEET eligibility :

Eligibility Requirements for NEET:

  1. Mandatory Subjects: You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology , and English as core subjects in your 10+2 equivalent education.

  2. Marks Requirement:
    • A minimum of 50% aggregate in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for general category students.

    • For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the requirement is 40% aggregate .

      Your Case:

Since you mentioned having Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and English but did not specify Physics:

  • Physics is compulsory for NEET eligibility.

    What You Need to Do:

If you haven't taken Physics at the IBDP level, you may need to:

  1. Take an Additional Physics Course: Consider enrolling in National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or similar recognized boards to complete Physics (Class 12 equivalent) as an additional subject.

  2. Ensure Board Recognition: Verify that your IBDP qualification is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to the Indian 10+2 system.

By fulfilling the Physics requirement and obtaining the necessary aggregate marks in PCB, you will become eligible to appear for the NEET exam.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

kumardurgesh1802 11th Jan, 2025

Hello Kunal,

With your scores in NMAT (206) and CAT (70.2 percentile) , there are several colleges in Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad where you can apply for an MBA program. While your CAT percentile is moderate, good performance in DILR and Quant can still make you eligible for decent colleges.

Bangalore:

  • Alliance University – Known for its management programs.
  • Christ University – Accepts NMAT and CAT scores.
  • IFIM Business School (Jagdish Sheth School of Management) – Accepts both NMAT and CAT.

  • MS Ramaiah Institute of Management – CAT/NMAT considered.

    Chennai:

  • Great Lakes Institute of Management (PGPM Flex/PGDM) – Moderate chances for PGDM with CAT; NMAT considered.

  • Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) – Primarily CAT-focused; moderate chances.

  • SRM School of Management – Accepts CAT and NMAT.

    Hyderabad:

  • Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad – CAT/NMAT scores are considered.

  • ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad – Accepts NMAT.

  • VJIM (Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management) – Accepts both CAT and NMAT.

  • GITAM Hyderabad Business School – CAT and NMAT are considered.

    Suggestions:

  • Focus on institutes that emphasize interviews, SOPs, and group discussions for holistic evaluation.

  • Prepare well for GD/PI to compensate for your lower score in English.

  • Consider applying to colleges that provide profile-based selections.

Expand your applications to ensure maximum opportunities.

mai hindi medium me hu lekin mai apna answer board ka english me dena chahta hu toh kya mai likh sakta hu

Syed Ali 8th Jan, 2025

Yes, you can write your board exam answers in English even if you are from a Hindi medium. However, you need to keep a few things in mind:

  1. Board Rules: Confirm the rules of your board (such as CBSE, ICSE, or state board). Most boards allow you to write answers in any language that is part of the syllabus.

  2. Clarity and Understandability: Your answers written in English should be clear and easy to understand. Try to avoid grammatical and spelling mistakes.

  3. Subject-Specific Terms: If there are certain terms that need to be written in Hindi (like technical terms) as per the subject requirement, make sure to write them accordingly.

If you are unsure, you can confirm with your school teacher or the exam invigilator. Good luck!
