Preboard english question paper

Syed Ali 6th Jan, 2025

I currently can't provide direct access to specific pre-board exam question papers. However, you can try the following methods to find pre-board English question papers:

  1. Visit School Websites : Many schools post pre-board papers or sample question papers on their official websites or student portals.
  2. Ask Teachers : Teachers may have access to pre-board papers and can guide you or provide previous year question papers.
  3. Educational Forums : Websites like Careers360, Gradeup, or other educational forums often have discussion threads with question papers and solutions shared by other students.
  4. Download from Apps : Some mobile apps dedicated to student learning, like Vedantu or Byju’s, offer sample papers and practice questions.
  5. YouTube : Channels dedicated to class 12 English preparation often share pre-board or mock test question papers with solutions.

You can also practice by looking at previous years' board exam papers for English, as these follow a similar pattern.

I have opted for both Mfm and Mdes entrance exam they have different markings such as quantitative ability Mfm has 10 questions and M des has 20 questiong , in english Mfm has 50 questions and M des has 25 questions which one should i follow im so confuse please help me out

Syed Ali 6th Jan, 2025

Choosing between the MFM (Master of Fashion Management) and MDes (Master of Design) entrance exams can indeed be tricky when they have different marking schemes. Here are some points that might help you decide which exam to focus on:

1. Quantitative Ability :

  • MFM : 10 questions.
  • MDes : 20 questions.

Tip : If you're more comfortable with numbers and quantitative analysis, MDes might be more favorable due to the higher number of questions (although it could also mean more time and effort). MFM, with fewer questions, could allow for a quicker pace if you're well-prepared in quantitative subjects.

2. English :

  • MFM : 50 questions.
  • MDes : 25 questions.

Tip : MFM has a heavier emphasis on English with 50 questions. If you're good with language skills, MFM could be a better choice, but it might also require more time and focus on the English section. MDes might be easier if English is a weaker area, as it has fewer questions.

3. Personal Strengths :

  • For MFM : If you are more inclined towards management, business, and communication aspects with a focus on fashion, MFM would be more suitable.
  • For MDes : If you have a stronger design aptitude and creativity, MDes would be a better choice.

4. Time Management :

  • Since MFM has more questions in English but fewer in Quantitative Ability, you might spend more time on English. MDes requires attention to both Quantitative Ability and English, but in relatively balanced proportions. Consider how well you manage time during exams.

5. Preparation Focus :

  • MFM will require strong English and moderate quantitative skills.
  • MDes will require both strong English and design-related aptitude, in addition to good quantitative ability.

Suggestion:

If you are stronger in English , go for MFM since it allows you to focus more on language skills. However, if you have a good grasp of both Quantitative Ability and English and are inclined towards design , MDes might be more suitable due to the balance in marks distribution.

Ultimately, base your decision on which subject area excites you the most and where you feel more confident.

Hello, my daughter studied IB diploma from an IB school in Tbilisi, Georgia. She had English, Bio and Chemistry as higher level subjects, whereas French, Economics and Math as standard level subs. IB does not allow all 3 sciences, so does my daughter qualify or is eligible for writing NEET exam?

Syed Ali 6th Jan, 2025

For your daughter to be eligible for the NEET exam , she needs to meet the specific eligibility criteria outlined by the National Testing Agency (NTA) . One of the key requirements for NEET eligibility is that a candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 12th grade (or equivalent) as mandatory subjects.

Here's the eligibility breakdown for NEET with respect to your daughter's case:

  1. Subjects in the IB Curriculum : Since your daughter has taken Biology and Chemistry at the higher level (HL) , this satisfies the requirement for Biology and Chemistry .

  2. Third Science : The key concern here is that Physics is not mentioned in the subjects she studied, and NEET requires Physics as one of the mandatory subjects in 12th grade.

Conclusion :

Your daughter may not be eligible to write the NEET exam unless she has completed Physics as part of her curriculum. However, if she can provide additional proof of equivalency, or if her school offers a possibility of appearing for the Physics exam separately , you may need to consult with the NTA or the Indian embassy for further clarification regarding the IB Diploma equivalency.

If she has the required subjects and is still uncertain, it's recommended to confirm with the NTA directly or refer to the official NEET eligibility guidelines for the most accurate information.

I am interested in BBA or BMS courses so I want to give CUET exam. But I am confused in choosing subjects because I passed my 12th with PCM.WWould it be ok to chose only MATH,ENGLISH and GENERAL APTITUDE TEST.If I do so then which colleges would be there offering BBA course. What would be CUT OFF.

Syed Ali 1st Jan, 2025

For CUET (Common University Entrance Test) , if you're interested in pursuing BBA or BMS and have passed 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) , it is perfectly fine to choose Mathematics, English, and the General Aptitude Test (GAT) . Here’s how it works:

  1. Subject Selection:

    • Mathematics is an important subject for BBA/BMS courses as it focuses on analytical and quantitative skills.
    • English is essential for communication and comprehension.
    • General Aptitude Test (GAT) will assess your logical reasoning, analytical skills, and general knowledge.
  2. Colleges Offering BBA with These Subjects:

    • Many universities and colleges offering BBA/BMS accept CUET scores. Some of the prominent ones include:
      • Delhi University (DU)
      • Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI)
      • Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
      • Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)
      • University of Lucknow
      • Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU)
      • Banasthali Vidyapith (and others)
  3. CUET Cut-offs:

    • CUET cut-offs vary from year to year and college to college, based on the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seats available.
    • For BBA/BMS, top colleges like DU and IP University generally have cut-offs ranging from 85% to 95% or even higher, depending on the competition and the specific course.
    • It’s advisable to regularly check the official websites of these universities for the latest updates on their cut-off trends and admission criteria.
  4. Preparation Tips:

    • Focus on improving your quantitative aptitude , logical reasoning , and English proficiency .
    • Take mock tests to practice and improve your time management skills for the exam.

By selecting Mathematics, English, and GAT , you’ll be well-prepared for the admission process for BBA/BMS courses through CUET.
