please can you provide me the pdf of new syllabus in 2024 for p.g. english literature? Thank you

Jefferson 9th Sep, 2024

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to us at Careers360. I'm one of the new interns here, so I'm still learning the ropes myself.

I'd be happy to help you find the PDF of the new 2024 syllabus for P.G. English Literature. Let me check with some of my colleagues to see if we have that information on hand.

In the meantime, could you let me know which university or institution you're looking for specifically? That would help me narrow down the search. Also, have you checked the official website of your university? They often post updated syllabi there.

If I can't find it, I'll at least try to point you in the right direction. Thanks for your patience while I look into this !

Is there anything else about the P.G. English Literature program you'd like to know? I'd be glad to help with any other questions you might have.

I am doing my last year in undergraduation in english and now I want to go for IIMC but the problem I am assuming is that I have not any knowledge or skills regarding journalism. So will it create any problem during pursuing IIMC courses or will they teach from the basic?

Kanishka kaushikii 7th Sep, 2024

Don't worry about your lack of journalism experience. IIMC, and many other journalism schools, are designed to cater to students with diverse backgrounds. They understand that not everyone will have prior journalism experience.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Basic Journalism Fundamentals: The courses will start from the ground up, teaching you essential concepts like news gathering, writing, editing, and reporting.
  • Hands-on Training: You'll likely have opportunities for practical training, such as internships or field assignments, to gain real-world experience.
  • Mentorship: Experienced faculty and mentors will guide you through the learning process and provide valuable feedback.

While a background in journalism can certainly be beneficial, it's not a strict requirement. Your ability to learn, think critically, and communicate effectively will be more important factors.

Focus on developing your writing skills, honing your curiosity, and building a strong understanding of current affairs. These skills will be invaluable as you embark on your journalism journey.

I hope this information helps you.

Can I get AIIMS Delhi with 715 marks but 12th english +biology +chemistry +physics total 190 is possible to get admission

Hridaya Rao 5th Sep, 2024
Hello Student,

Firstly congratulations for qualifying in NEET getting an excellent score with 715 marks in NEET, that makes you highly competitive for AIIMS Delhi. AIIMS typically requires top ranks, and 715 is usually well within the range for securing a seat there.

Regarding your 12th-grade marks, AIIMS Delhi's eligibility criteria include the following:
You must have passed your 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
The aggregate marks required in these subjects for the general category are at least 60%, and 50% for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).

To check eligibility, let's calculate the percentage based on the 190 marks you mentioned:
If 190 is the sum of your marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English out of a total of 400, your percentage would be 47.5%. This would fall short of the 60% requirement for general category candidates but may be close for reserved category criteria (50%).

If you belong to a reserved category (like SC/ST/OBC), you might still be eligible, but if you're in the general category, your 12th-grade aggregate might not meet the eligibility requirement.

Thankyou.

My cuet 2024 numbers are as follows English 112 General test-52 Chemistry 20 Physics 26 Bio-44 Sir, please tell me in detail can i get admission in bhu main campus or affiliated if affiliated thrn which college

Yuvan 31st Aug, 2024

Hi,

Based on the information you provided about the BHU cutoff scores for 2023, your chances of getting admission into BHU’s main campus for certain undergraduate courses can be evaluated. Here’s a quick analysis:

Your CUET Scores:

  • English: 112
  • General Test: 52
  • Chemistry: 20
  • Physics: 26
  • Biology: 44

BHU Cutoffs for 2023 (Round 8):

  • B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture: 506.96
  • B.Com (Hons.) in Financial Markets Management: 493.8
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology: 465.54
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science: 457.41
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geology (Discontinued): 354.68

Analysis:

Given your CUET scores and the cutoffs from Round 8 in 2023:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and Zoology : These courses have high cutoff scores (above 450), making it unlikely for admission with your current scores.
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science and Geology : Also competitive, with cutoffs above 350, which might be challenging based on your science subject scores.
  • Other Programs : If you’re considering non-science programs where your English and General Test scores could be more relevant, you might have a better chance.

Recommendation:

  • Alternative Courses : Consider applying for other undergraduate courses where the cutoffs might be lower or where your stronger scores in English and General Test are given more weight.
  • Multiple Rounds : Keep an eye on further rounds or spot admissions where cutoffs might decrease.

Hope you find this useful!

can semi english medium student take admission to sainik school

Prachi Kumari 29th Aug, 2024

Hello,

Yes, a student from a semi-English medium school can generally apply for admission to a Sainik School , but there are a few important points to consider:

  1. Medium of Instruction : Sainik Schools typically use English as the medium of instruction. Therefore, students should have a reasonable proficiency in English to cope with the curriculum effectively. If the student's English skills are not strong, it might be beneficial to improve them before applying.

  2. Admission Test : Sainik Schools conduct an entrance exam, which usually includes subjects like Mathematics, General Knowledge, and English. Proficiency in English will help in this examination, so preparation in this area is crucial.

  3. Eligibility Criteria : Make sure to check the specific eligibility criteria for the Sainik School you're interested in. These criteria can include age limits, educational qualifications, and other requirements.

  4. Preparation : If you are from a semi-English medium school and are concerned about the English proficiency required, consider additional English language courses or tutoring to strengthen your skills.

  5. School Policy : Each Sainik School might have its own policy regarding the language medium of previous schooling, so it's a good idea to reach out to the specific school for detailed information.

Preparing well for the entrance exam and working on English language skills will enhance the chances of successful admission.

Hope it helps !
